A fantastic Fairbanks experience! The cabin was perfect with all the supplies needed. It averaged 20 below zero during our stay and a fire everynight made it cozy. Cabin HVAC kept all parts warm. Our host Carl reached out before we arrived and during our stay to make sure we had everything needed and make sure no problems. Our only request was for a plug for the car engine heater. There is a plug next to the cabin entrance and Carl supplied a extension card. Location is just outside Fairbanks traffic but within minutes of the college and downtown. The owner has a place to stay under the cabin, but since there is a separate entrance, we had no idea if anyone is there or not. Don’t let that bother you. Would absolutely recommend this to friends and family. Yes, it cost a little more than a hotel, but worth the experience.
