EXCELLENT PROPERTY IN A FABULOUS LOCATION
A delightful, spotlessly clean bungalow in a quiet, peaceful location, within a few minutes walk of the harbour and easy access to other coastal walks from the door. Crisp, white bedlinen, super comfy beds and soft, white, fluffy towels. Secure and well maintained garden with a beautiful sunny aspect for sitting out. Neighbours are quiet and very friendly and our experience was that St Abbs and surrounding areas are genuinely chatty and friendly. Parking is available outside the bungalow. We'd recommend the Cullen Skink at Ebbcarrs Cafe in the harbour....... also the New Inn at Coldingham does a champion Sunday roast at a very reasonable price. This was our first visit to St Abbs but we enjoyed it so much we've already booked to come back next year.

Holiday cottage
A very clean and well presented holiday cottage with a lovely garden for sitting having breakfast or a coffee. The bathroom has a lovely walk in shower which does make life easier. A hook on the back of the bathroom door would make it just right. The cottage is well situated with easy access to the cliff path, the creel path or the harbour.

Doggy holiday
Wanted a relaxing scenic break with dogs while minding daughters dog..and this was ideal, very secure garden. Just hope neighbours weren't too bothered with sister in law's spaniel who barks too much for my liking..so for that I apologise. But we got out and about a lot taking advantage of the beautiful coastal countryside and all it has to offer..weather also very kind to us. Beds very comfortable and everything you could possibly need to ensure we felt at home. If any negative feedback it would be the hot water pressure in kitchen and electric shower. But that's just a minor thing. Would come back if available. Thank Peter Hazel

A quiet getaway.
A lovely bungalow in a quiet fishing village. Had all amenities needed. Walk in shower, well equipped kitchen, lovely comfortable beds, Sky TV, Wi-Fi and a large, secure garden which was ideal for the dog. Some lovely walks near by and the weather was good which made our stay more enjoyable. Two nice cafes and one Post Office in the village.

This was the perfect house for us-comfortable nice and clean and with all amenities that we could need. The local area is peaceful and beautiful with lots to do without going to far.( which for us was a big plus as we didn't have a car..) Would definitely like to come back again.

Excellent Cottage in an excellent location.
Cottage was immaculately clean. Everything you need for a home from home. Garden kept well and a pleasure to sit in. Neighbours friendly. A lot of great places to visit nearby. The beds were very comfortable so always had a great nights sleep. Recommend the New Inn for dining in Coldingham. Would definitely stay here again.

St Abbs
The whole process was managed well by the owner as I had some difficulty with the booking process, this was soon sorted and from then it it was great. We received an email 2 weeks before with the checking in process which was great. On arrival everything was as stated and the cottage was clean and comfortable for our stay. St Abbs itself was a lovely little fishing village with plenty of walks on the doorstep. We explored the area and there was plenty to see and do within a short driving distance so we were not disappointed. Overall highly recommended.

Could not have been better ......
Sight unseen I booked a stay of 1 month. It seemed that everything had been thought of for visitors. The kitchen was one of the best equipped in my experience & easy to understand with the help of the very good printed directions in the folder. But the up to date simplicity of the house in general enhanced the peace of the stay. In March/April, St Abbs & the street were very quiet unless the cries of flying Herring Gulls are a bother. For a dog owner the garden was well-fenced but most important was the availability of good walks with chances to meet a few people & mainly well-mannered dogs. (all but 1). A walk the 'back way' to the lighthouse and along Mire Lough through St Abbs Head Nature Reserve was like another world even for someone from Northern Ireland. If visitors can reach the Co-op in Eyemouth for supplies there is little need to go further. Would I go back to stay? Yes.
