Zircon in the room didn’t work and with way to open the windows resulted in a very stuffy and uncomfortable night At breakfast most of the food in the buffet was swimming in oil, and the fried eggs are cold and like leather I prefer my eggs hot and room cool, unfortunately I got the reverse

Access to the hotel was easy, situated a short distance, from the M5, an ideal base for visiting the many nearby seaside and countryside attractions. Hotels facilities, decor, and cleanliness excellent. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful! Buffet breakfast catered for all tastes and quality was quite good. The disappointment, for us, was the air conditioning. Whilst the corridors seemed refreshingly cool, our room was not. For the entire week our room stat was set to 17.5C. Nevertheless, the actual room temperature never fell below 22-23C which is far too high for comfortable sleep. With aircon fan on full speed air circulation was good but unfortunately the air was not being cooled!

Good value but wifi and parking cost poor

Room was of good size, clean, quiet and comfortable. Bed one of the most comfortable I've slept on. Located in an estate outside Exeter city, it is a good value stay on a road trip. Staff pleasant and helpful. Pros: - quiet - rooms clean and comfortable - food was good value and bar served great Guinness Cons: - parking cost - Wifi awful - no room service
