I like the place because it is quiet, safe, easy access to stores, restaurants, banks... anything what we need in every day life. The staff members are friendly, helpful, somebody is always available at the front desk. The price is reasonable! You will enjoy the Village Inn!

Very poor customer service here. Had a one night reservation made through Hotels.com. Checked in on the night I was supposed to arrive signed and paid for my one night reservation, checked out as scheduled. When I arrived home the next day I discovered I had been charged a second time for a second night, due to an error made by hotels.com. I called immediately upon discovering this error only to be told to got to hotels.com. The chatbots at hotels.com referred me back to the Village Inn. When I spoke to them a second time the clerk told me that the person who checked me in LIED and said they confirmed a second night. This is absolutely not true as i would have spoken up then. I signed for, was charged and paid for the one night I reserved, because of their antiquated systems I was not provided a receipt for my stay (so I can't disprove their claim with my bank) nor has the deposit been refunded. Both times I called staff was dismissive and rude. Essentially I paid $600 for one night in a dirty room that smelled vaguely of smoke and mildew, had uncomfortable beds with not enough covers, paper thin walls, zero amenities. Quite frankly a terrible experience overall.

There's no way to eliminate the smoke smell from a renovated hotel room if you don't remove the popcorn ceiling. The rooms smell bad and the property is next to a busy road and a busy freeway. Loud.

The communication at The Village Inn was extremely poor. Due to a change in my wife’s surgery schedule, we attempted to cancel our reservation several days in advance. Despite multiple attempts, the cancellation was never processed. I would advise caution when booking with this property.

The Fountain!

We often stay here and OUR big draw is to the courtyard with the fountain in the middle. Great place to hang out at the end of the day before turning in for the night.
