We stayed at this property for a full week last summer and had a nice experience. We booked the large suite then, and it was great, so much so that we decided to return this year.
This time, we booked a double queen room since our group was smaller. Unfortunately, the experience was very different. The online photos were quite deceiving. The room had worn-out furniture, poor-quality bedding, chipped paint, and disfunctional soap and conditioner dispensers. The windows were so dirty we could barely see through them. To make matters worse, the heat stopped working during the night. With no on-site support, we had to text management. They did send a maintenance person who fixed the heat and refilled the dispensers, but the overall condition of the room was very disappointing.
We also had to check out a day early due to an emergency. We notified management by text, but they refused to refund the unused night. While I understand that’s their policy, it showed a lack of customer service and flexibility, especially for a returning guest. Unfortunately, this experience cost them a loyal customer. There are plenty of other resorts and cabins in the area tha we will consider booking next time.
