The property’s location is very beautiful and it is quiet. However, neither the heated pool was available nor there was bonfire. The property is not maintained well in terms of the rooms. Did find a few cockroaches. However, it is spacious and if you’re just going to spend the day out then it’s a good option to sleep at. Very near to the exit of the National Park. Check in, check out process is easy and you don’t need to meet the property manager.

Nicky’s resort is not a resort. It is a very old motel. Which in itself could be okay however the room assigned to us was filthy. It appeared that actually clean had not been used in a while. One reason we picked this “resort” was the outside sparkling pool. However the pool was in total disarray and unusable. It was end of June and it seems strange it would not have been in good working condition.we had booked for three nights. We stayed one only because we arrived too late to figure out something else. We left as soon as we woke up the next day. I contacted the motel multiple times and have received no response still. I would strongly recommend not booking this motel for anyone and especially if you have kids with you.

This resort is a quiet serene spot on the river. It’s not fancy but it gets major points for having everything a young family or a couple could want for a few days. Within a stone’s throw to a tasty restaurant and amazing access to the river it checked all my Colorado boxes. There was even an early evening male elk who sauntered his way through the property! I hope to be back again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the River (“Deluxe”) units! The pool, firepit area and river were great bonuses. The room was like a nice tiny cabin, quiet and easy. The only reason I rated it 3 for staff is because there are none on-site. For us, the self check-in was easy once we figured out where our unit was. We didn’t automatically get our room number and code, but it was easy to contact the property through Expedia to receive it.

The location was good but for the price it was a lil letdown. So to summarize we paid over $600 for a two night stay. The beds were so hard it gelt like we were sleeping on the floor, the pillows were either extra firm which was only one or complete flat. The futon couch was so worn out all you feel is the springs. We like the air bnb feel but for the aesthetic of inside the room it wasn’t worth the money. Maybe try and either do some updates or bring down your prices a tad. The toliet hardly flushed, and there was a tad bit of black mold in the shower at the base of the caulking.

Super convenient, low key, and affordable in a town that is generally pricey. The room was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Would stay again. It also has a stream running right through the parking lot which was so nice

Beautiful river runs thru the property. (The river runs quickly so may not be safe to play near with children) Property is very close to the National Park. There is no front desk. All check in and room access information comes via email.

We spent two non-consecutive nights here, and the cabin feel was pleasant, rooms were clean, property was adequate - but it IS a non-contact registration and check-in, which brought a few issues. Figuring out how to get into the correct room initially was a challenge, as it was all by email and online contact. Plus our refrigerator wasn't cold, but found out by trial and error that it had been turned off (by staff, I assume, for us to figure out and turn on after arrival). Also, main ice machine had been turned off, so we turned it on, and had to wait a couple hours for it to generate ice. The restaurant on the property was a disaster ... evidently training new help, but after waiting in a line (never got signed in) for about 45 minutes, we left to go find another place to eat. Nice ambience with the tumbling river close-by, and the cabin-feel of our rooms. Was hard to figure out which cabin was ours, where it was located, and how to get in! Thankfully, we interacted and shared discoveries with other clients, and eventually all helped each other out!

The room was mostly clean and had a good appearance. The bed was ok, however the bed skirt was filthy. The bathroom was being taken over with mold all around the tub top, all 4 walls, and the anti-slip mat should have been thrown away or cleaned as was disgusting.

Surprise location

The location was fantastic, right on the river. The new person less, email only checkin have is two rooms with no explanation, no answer to our inquiries. Turns out, we had one night in one room, then had to change rooms.

We enjoyed the sports shed that had balls, golf gear, and fishing rods. The water pressure is great. The window AC unit was inefficient and had lights on it that shine in your face all night. The shower current was cloth and caused the bathroom to flood each time the shower was used.

Wow, absolutely amazing stay. The room gives an amazing cozy vibe. Doesn’t feel like a motel at all. They did a great job with the upgrades. I don’t think I’ve ever taken a shower with such high water pressure. The property was beautiful. We will absolutely be coming back.
