Absolutely loved our stay at Murphey's!! Our room smelled strongly of cleaning products, so I asked if we could have a different room & it was no problem. The second room was wonderful!!! It was really big, clean, comfortable & looked like it had been remodeled recently. The bed was comfortable & the bedding was really lovely. They have lots of things right there on the property to do, playground, bikes, pool, hot tub, tetherball, etc. There are also tons of movies you can borrow, free breakfast, a nice fireplace sitting area, free popcorn & coffee. All of the employees we interacted with were really friendly & accommodating. We will definitely be back!!!!!

This property was awesome!! The location was great! There were 100 elk on the property one night. The staff were super friendly! Alaina was the one working for most of our stay and she was amazing! The amenities here were also great!

No thrills motel and good value.

Hotel was fine about average condition, location was ok about 1 mile from town. Continental Breakfast was ok, no hot food with free coffee. Price was reasonable and a good value.

Very easy check in and the staff was very friendly. We were very satisfied with our room. We were able to cook dinner, relax in the hot tub, take a walk around the lake, watch movies. There were many dvd's to take to your room. Best of all we were able to take our dog. We will be returning !

We enjoyed our stay at Murphy’s resort. There was goose poop everywhere though not the fault of the owners. The managers were very accommodating and helpful. We loved the selection of dvds and games. The room and playground could use some updating/maintenance but we had no real issues with it. Overall it was a nice stay.

Enrique at the front desk helped me find local restaurants, transportation and everything else I needed. He made our short stay so much easier. Plus the dog facilities were right outside our room and top notch!

We were in Estes Park for a family wedding. This older motel resort was very affordable, included a large selection of items for a continental breakfast, coffee, juice, and bottled water (which you need in the arid high altitude (7800 feet)). It was easy to find and only a couple of miles from downtown historic Estes Park, about 5 miles to Rocky Mountain National Park

This is a good place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Restaurants and Rocky Mtn NP were all a short drive away. I can see it being even more appealing coming in the summer with kids. There is a nice playground area in the middle. We had an adjoining room and from the bathroom area you could pretty much here the next door conversations and the dog barking periodically. It was not a big deal for us and didn't impact our sleep. However, just something to be aware of.
