Castle Mountain Lodge was a great place to stay. We stayed in the Castle Glen cabin over Christmas week and really enjoyed our time. Even without snow or elk sightings, the cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway. The location is quiet but still close to town, and everything was exactly as expected. Staff was friendly and helpful, and we had fresh wood each day. We had a fun stay and would absolutely come back again.

Our stay at Castle Mountain Lodge was just so enjoyable! We loved the room, the different buildings in the property. The entry bridge that was lit up with beautiful white lights, a postcard scene for sure! The river partly frozen nearby. Just beautiful and the surrounding area was awesome! The people who greeted us in the office, very friendly! Cookies were available or hot beverages. Nice little shop for souvenirs. Just a very lovely stay.

Dirty room , dirty sheets , no cream or sugar for coffee , child toilet , one bundle of fire wood then had to purchase another if needed , a room of this cost $286.00 absolutely no amenity false advertisement show the room online not even close to room we ended up with!! parking was terrible , Never will go back again … would definitely not recommend staying here!

We stayed in the motel room #2 & it was all clean, quiet, so beautiful at night with the lights all lit up. Easy access to town & RMNP! I think next time we will book sooner so we can snag a cabin with a private hot tub just because that sounds so wonderful. The playground was perfect for our little one & what an amazing backdrop of scenery while our little one played. Sound of the river was so nice as well. Tons of turkeys on site during our stay which we got a kick out of! We would love to come back and would highly recommend castle mountain lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay in Estes!

Absolutely loved this place. We will definitely be returning again. We felt like we were at home. The place is equipped with everything you need, if you decide to cook your own meals. Having a supermarket down the road to pick up food was a plus. The trolley to take you into town goes by every 20 min or so. The property itself has beautiful sitting areas and you are in walking distance to a couple of restaurants. You would not be disappointed.

This was a good place for us to stay while adventuring around Estes Park. It was wonderfully convenient as it is close to the downtown area and close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff is very kind! The only mild complaint was the room was warm, despite fans being provided. All in all, we are pleased with our stay!
