Nice hotel overall. There was a bit of a quarrel outside the hotel (not the fault of the staff, of course). But I encourage people to bring earplugs to cancel out the noise. Otherwise, the facility was clean and the staff was helpful.

Spcaious, modern,and quiet room with comfortable beds. Very convenient location close to the train station, which also has a subway station. The food at their breakfast buffet is delicious - one of the best I've had at a hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Basic and simple - with average food.

Overall ok for what it is, but nothing more. Sink in the room didn’t drain properly, breakfast had several cold items (incl eggs, beans, pancakes) so this was not enjoyable. Main ‘restaurant’ food was not much better - chicken wings were super dry, chips the same.

Check out was easy, staff were polite, lobby was pleasantly stocked with games which makes it fun for family stay. Contemporary and cozy. Central location - 5 mins walk to Christmas market/train station/shopping plaza. Ironing self-service room was very useful. Continental and hot breakfast were great quality and plenty of options. Only thing missing is maybe a steam/sauna/spa facility ❤️

Good location - about 5 mins walk from the station so very convenient. Main issue was lots of groundwork opposite the station so a little inconvenient. I would say the hotel is ok but central Essen was not as good as I had hoped. Hotel was decent enough!

The employees were wonderful, had good food and was very clean. One elevator was broken so there was only one for all guests. Hotel is right next to train station which is very convenient but the area is a bit dirty and there were many beer bottles scattered around (not in front of the hotel specifically, it was a nice hotel just not a great area!)
