For the price, I was expecting more, to be honest. At $200 per night, in the off-season of a non-resort pass through town in the desert, I thought it was a bit steep for what we got. The rooms are definitely dated, and in need of some serious renovating. The beds were not very comfortable and the property didn't have a lot of amenities to offer - no laundry, no pools, hot-tubs, no on-site dining, ect. And the staff we're barely around to help with anything. The office was closed when we checked out. At 9 am. Lol. So, this hotel is just a place to put your head down. However, that being said, there were some positives. For a pass-through town, that's generally what you're looking for - a place to put your head down. So, I was trying to keep my expectations reasonable. Also, the room was pretty clean - maybe smelled a bit swampy at check-in, but not bad. Best of all, it's one of the only properties around that you can have your dog with you. Big props for that. That's why my review is a 3 star instead of a 1 star. So, an overall average stay. I might stay here again if I'm traveling with pets, but I hope the price isn't quite so high for what you get.

Pretty good motel-quality stay. Liked double sinks & sitting area. At 5'4", I was taller than the shower head, so there was that and when we had neighbors just one night we clearly heard luggage moving, TV/conversations... so the walls could use some insulation but this is a convenient, well-maintained property that is in a good location for hiking in the area.

What a find. Very comfortable and clean right where we were hiking in Escalante. It’s the off season, so food options are minimal. I wish we could have eaten at their restaurant.

Late arrival so called and got a room code!

Arrived late after 13 hour drive. I called earlier to let them know so Bryce gave us code for our 2 rooms. Perfect. Upon inspecting, someone forgot to clean out left over food from fridge and someone’s bathing bottom on shower curtain. I text Bryce about this next day. Came home from full day hiking thinking room cleaned. Nope! I went to office to show pictures. The house keeper came right away to clean it all out and sanitize. Our sheets (bed) and towels were clean. I’m good with that. Guy from office came and looked. I did not ever get a response from Bryce about this. I have been to Asia numerous time, I can overlook things. But someone else might not be able to! Cute place, everything you need. Not fancy, basic accommodation with great parking and wonderful to sit outside in morning for sunrise. Only downer was restaurant was closed both days we were there. Closed Monday and Tuesdays. I would stay here again, mistakes happen. Housekeeper that came to rescue was great:) Don’t hesitate to book. It’s fine.
