Villa Emmelia & Guesthouse Amazing View With Pool

Nestled on a gently sloping hillside just 4.5 km from Porto Heli, Villa Emmelia is a newly built home on a peaceful 4,000 m² estate, shared with another villa (used by my family).
Surrounded by nature, the villa offers stunning views over Kounoupi Beach and the nearby islands of Hydra and Dokos.
Designed with respect for local architecture - featuring traditional pebbled stone - Villa Emmelia combines understated elegance with a modern, minimal interior that is both stylish and comfortable.

Interior Layout
The property is spread across three levels. The upper two comprise the main villa, which accommodates up to 4 guests, while the lower level is a fully independent guesthouse, which can accommodate up to 6 guests. There is no internal connection between the two, ensuring privacy and autonomy for all guests.

On the ground floor of the main villa, you’ll find an open-plan kitchen, a cozy seating area, and a dining space centered around a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and filter coffee maker.

The first bedroom is located just three steps above the living area, with a bathroom conveniently next to it. It offers direct access to the outdoor spaces and swimming pool, and can be configured with either a double bed or two singles, depending on your preference.

The master bedroom, located on the upper floor, features an en-suite bathroom, access to a private balcony with stunning views, and a small secluded terrace, ideal for relaxing or enjoying a quiet read.

The spacious living and dining area opens onto a large covered terrace, perfect for breakfast or home-cooked meals with sweeping views of the Greek landscape and nearby islands.

Outdoor Living
This terrace connects to both open and shaded sections. The open area features a private swimming pool (13m x 5m, max depth 2.4m) and an outdoor shower, ideal for sunbathing and soaking in the panoramic sea views. The pool is exclusively for guest use.

The shaded section includes a comfortable lounge area and a BBQ/bar corner, equipped with a gas grill and mini bar, perfect for preparing meals and refreshing drinks throughout the day. Additionally, a ping pong table is available, offering a fun way to enjoy the outdoor space.

The Guesthouse
The guesthouse, located on a lower level, enjoys the same breathtaking sea and island views. It has its own private entrance and operates as an independent unit. Spanning 85 m², it can accommodate up to 6 guests. It features a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and two additional bedrooms that share a large bathroom. The open-plan living area includes a kitchen and dining corner, while the covered terrace provides a relaxing space to enjoy the stunning views. The guesthouse has direct access to the pool and outdoor areas, making it an ideal option for those seeking privacy with close proximity to the main villa.

Comfort & Amenities
The villa is ideal for families, friends, or couples, with all rooms in both the main villa and guesthouse being air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans, ensuring comfort during the warm summer months. Wi-Fi internet is provided throughout, as well as satellite TV and Smart TV for your entertainment. Additionally, a baby cot can be provided upon request for children up to 3 years old. The 2,000 m² garden surrounding the villa is filled with Mediterranean plants, including pine trees, laurels, myrtles, and aromatic shrubs, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful villa & views

The villa is as beautiful as the pictures suggest and set up with everything you might need; big pool, outdoor area with table tennis, bbq station etc. We were staying with another family and the guesthouse was ideal for us to share the villa but have our own space. On top of this, Danai was an amazing host - super helpful with everything during our stay including suggestions and recommendations for places to go, activities and restaurants.

A 5 star experience!!!!!

What a true gem! We researched countless properties to stay in Porto Heli for our week in this magical spot of Greece. There are many from which to chose and the home we would select was so important to us. From the moment we arrived at the property, we knew we made the perfect choice! Where to begin… You will drive through a private gate where you will park your car and walk into the main entrance of the spectacular home. The house itself is perfectly appointed, each bedroom, a simple delight, with extremely comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, a modern and extremely well equipped kitchen. However, it is when you walk outside that you honestly cannot believe your eyes. The view is absolutely spectacular! …beyond words and it felt like a wellness retreat. My wife commented that it felt like therapy. We celebrated a family reunion as well as birthday and enjoyed the BBQ area outside, simply Greek in every way. We visited 5 different beaches, dined in the town and visited Spetses. The host recommended amazing restaurants and next time we will stay longer . If you come across this property book it without hesitation .. it will not disappoint.

Everything was perfect

This is the perfect place with the perfect hosts. We can't wait to return. From start to finish, Danai and her mother were so helpful and welcoming. The villa itself was beautiful. Clean. Well resourced. Perfectly situated. And the views were astonishing. It's just a few minutes drive to shops, restaurants and beaches. We've been to Greece many times but this was our first visit to the Peloponnese and we absolutely loved it. We WILL be back!

Paradise

We stayed for a month at Villa Emmelia, inviting friends and family at various times from Australia and Holland. There was not one person who did not find this villa exceptional from all our guests. The serenity, the magnificent views, the divine infinity pool. The attention to detail in the villa, the plentiful furniture [lounges and deck chairs], around the generous pool area, worthy of an upmarket hotel. The cleanliness was second to none, everything spotlessly clean. The facilities in the kitchen made eating at home so easy , relaxing and enjoyable. You do need a car definitely, however the town of Porto Cheli is nearby as is Konoupi Beach, most of us walked to the beach but others chose to drive. Also close by is a short drive to Kosta to get the ferry or water taxi to Spetses, wonderful for an evening stroll, shopping, pre dinner drinks. We also visited other nearby interesting places including Hydra, Ermioni and Nafplio. I am actually a little hesitant giving this review to be quite honest ,as I would not like it to become so popular that we are not able to return. However I would on the other hand love to promote such a beautiful place where so much care and love has been put into.

Amazing Experience in Greece

Villa Emmelia in Porto Heli, Greece was immaculate and the perfect spot for our first trip to Greece! The villa owners were great. Knowing we would arrive late on our check-in day after travelling, they stocked the kitchen with a few food items we could snack on before going to the supermarket the next day. They arranged for a talented Greek chef to cook traditional Greek dishes for us two nights of our stay. When we wanted to rent a boat they knew exactly who to send us to. They had excellent recommendations for dining and excursions. My family booked this trip without the help of a travel agent so I was initially apprehensive. I never realized by renting Villa Emmelia I was basically getting the travel agent experience in the form of Danai and Moschoula. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Villa Emmelia and in Greece.

Lovely Villa and Guesthouse

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Emmelia, the villa is very clean and modern. The pool was really big and had amazing views. Danai was very helpful, giving us advice on things to do in the area. The owners live next door but the villa is still very private. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Million dollar view and a perfect villa

We visited in September with two small children and grandparents. Danai couldn't have made us feel more welcome. There were lots of thoughtful kid friendly extra such as cot, high chair, side bars for toddlers bed, and a box of toys (none of which we had to pay extra for). For adults the views are stunning and the pool is gorgeous. The kitchen is well equipped and there's heap of space around the villa. We hosts are very helpful with some well thought out local tips and recommendations, we would highly recommend this villa to anyone, particularly if travelling in a small groups due to the option of the self contained flat downstairs (perfect for grandparents or another family). It's quite secluded which is a plus for us as it meant total peace and quiet.

The view over the sea and the mountaines from the house and the infinity pool is stunning. The house is decorated beautifully in modern style with all facilties and privacy. A Greek Paradise

Villa Emmelia is a holiday paradise. Its stunning views, architect designed elegance and impeccable condition made it a perfect holiday location. It is very fully equipped with everything you might need on holiday and we particularly liked the layout of the accommodation which gave maximum privacy to our holiday party of 5. Danai is a wonderful owner - super efficient and friendly and very fast with communications and responses to questions. The check in was a pleasure and comprehensive and we appreciated the wine, fruit and other goodies in the welcome basket. The area is wonderful too - loads of uncrowded beaches that are under a 5 minute drive and we walked to several too - about 10 minutes to the closest. The villa is also close to several islands with easy communcations. We went to Spetses for dinner by water taxi which is highly recommended. And major historic sites like Epidavros are quite close - so plenty to do if you enjoy excursions. If you want to do some exercise on holiday (!!) there is wide scope for jogging on lanes and paths starting from the house, and the pool is extra long - longer than most private pools - we estimated it at 15 metres. So the youngsters did lengths while the oldies watched! During our one week stay there was a mid-point cleaning and bed-linen/towels change which was appreciated. And a tiny breakage in a shower was repaired immediately. All in all a worry-free super relaxing holiday - thank you Danai and your parents for making it so enjoyable!

Amazing villa and host!

Villa Emmelia is an amazing villa with magic views over the sea. The property has a very high standard and the infinity pool is just fantastic. The location is private and quiet, but still close to Porto Heli (6 min car) and great beaches and adventures. This combination was perfect for us. On top of this, Danai is an excellent host! Very quick in replying, always helpful and service minded with great suggestions and tips on things to do in the area. Really professional! We couldn't have wished for more - our holiday in Peloponnese and Villa Emmelia was just perfect.

Beautiful modern and Spacious villa, with spectacular views of Coastline and Hydra

We were greeted by Danai who was extremely accommodating, ensuring we were settled and set for our holiday. She was always available for contact throughout our stay if needed. The Villa was spotless and extremely functional. It's equipped to a high standard with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The views are amazing and relaxing by the large private pool was great for the lazy days. The Villa is private with only the adjoining property overseeing it (owned by the family) and is a short car journey from Porto Heli. There is easy access to the beautiful Islands of Spetses (10 mins by boat) or Hyda (20 mins + 20 min car journey to port of Ermioni) which are both an absolute must. Porto Heli is quiet, but has some nice restaurants and bars at the far end of the bay with a laid back, but fun vibe. There is also access by car (1 hour - 1 1/2 hours) to places such as Epidaurus, Mycenae and Nafplion. We stayed in May and had 7 glorious days of sunshine and warm, but not baking temperatures which were ideal for us and our young kids (7 and 6). So a perfect location for a beautifully located, well laid out and extremely functional Villa. I highly recommend it.

Great villa, great outlook and near everything

Host was very hospitable, gave great advice re restaurants, ferries to nearby islands, beaches to visit. We've been a few times to the area but always great to get a local's advice. Loved Kounoupi beach which we must have driven past so many times previously without realising; best beach in the area! Villa is beautiful and in a great location to access Kosta for ferry/taxi to Spetses and Porto Heli for restaurants/boats, pool was refreshing, villa is fully screened to keep out the insects, kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and the basics, good wi-fi and everything in immaculate condition throughout. Very enjoyable stay thanks Danai and Moschoula. Wow!

Absolute perfection!!

We have stayed in villas and apartments all over the world. Our usual statement is "if we were renting out this property we would change......" In the case of Villa Emmelia we couldn't find anything to criticise. The villa is absolutely amazing and if anything the description and photos do not do it justice. The villa is located in the hills outside of Porto Heli in an extremely quiet location. The only noise was from the cicadas. The villa is extremely well laid out with various outdoor spaces to enjoy the panoramic views across to the neighbouring islands. There were also plenty of covered areas to escape from the midday sun whilst still enjoying the pool areas. The villa was extremely clean, very well equipped and comfortable throughout. Danai and her mother, who lives in the neighbouring property, could not do enough for us. They recommended restaurants and places to visit, advice which we took and were very impressed. Before we booked the villa, we were concerned about the proximity of the family villa next to the pool. In truth the pool area is extremely private and we barely knew that Danai's parents were at home. The positive side to this arrangement is that someone is on hand to help if anything goes wrong. We had an issue with working one of the fans. Danai's mother came around to look, realised there was an issue with the switch, called an electrician and had the issue resolved the same day. Brilliant service! The villa is located outside of Porto Heli so a car is a must. However, it is only a 10-minute drive into the town where many restaurants and shops can be found. This may not suit everyone but it is definitely worth it for the peace and quiet. Plus those views!! Danai was extremely helpful and efficient when we were considering booking the property. She answered all of our questions quickly. All in all this villa is superb. Our experience was perfect from start to finish. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We are always looking for somewhere to return to when we simply want to chill out and enjoy some peace and quiet. We have finally found this with Villa Emmelia. We would definitely return and hopefully we can do so in the not too distant future. Danai, thanks for everything!

We had a great stay at Danai's place! The villa is very new and clean, the pool is huge and the view from the pool is amazing. The owners live next door, but made sure we have our privacy. Danai has been very helpful explaining things to visit in the area. All in all - we had a great time!

We stayed at this beautiful property in Porto Heli for 8 days as a group of 9, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The house is spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. One of the highlights was definitely the pool and the amazing view—it is even better than the pictures. We spent most of our days lounging by the pool, took a few day trips and enjoyed the BBQ in the evenings. The location was also ideal—peaceful and private, but just a short walk or drive to the beach. The Grandmother of the host lives right next door and both she and the host were helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

Wonderful location near to Hydra, Spetsis and Epidaurus

A 3hours car trip away from Athens, we found our extraordinary designed house of dreams for a wonderful vaccation on Peleponnes. Our 4 kids loved to spend the evenings bathing in the big and very clean pool with top view over the Aegean Sea. We loved the 20 minutes walk in the morning through the lovely landscape to the next more or less private sandy beach, having a bath and observing the sunrise. The household was perfectly organized, we found everything we needed for grilling, cooking and celebrating. Thank you Danai for your kindness and friendship!

Wow! A perfect holiday in a perfect villa!

I am always a bit sceptical when pictures look 'too perfect' to be true but the previous evaluations convinced me that this must a nice villa. :) And indeed, the pictures and previous guests don't lie. The view is simply amazing and I spent hours just relaxing, having a glass of wine and looking at the beautiful countryside. The house is well equipped, very clean and we didn't miss anything. The hosts, Moschoula and Danai, were very attentive and I truly had the feeling that they wanted us to have a fabulous vacation. The description of the villa is 100% correct. At Port Heli there are lots of good restaurants (not a matter of course for holiday regions) which we enjoyed as well. Thanks for this perfect vacation!
