Needed to make an unexpected trip to Erie and were fortunate to find a room here. Room was clean, staff was friendly, price was reasonable for a last minute booking, and despite an apparently full hotel we had plenty of hot water. Only two downsides (which would make the rating maybe a 9.5). The sliding shower door wouldn't stay closed (we finally figured out on the 2nd day to wedge a towel in there) so the entire bathroom floor was soaked, and the floor between the bed and the bathroom wall was ridiculously creaky (maybe a cause and effect there?). Probably just a problem with our particular room, so we'd stay here again.

We prepaid for our stay months ahead of time, yet when we arrived late at night, we were told the hotel had overbooked and there was no room for us. There was zero communication beforehand to alert us to this issue. The front desk staff was unprofessional, dismissive, and showed no empathy for the situation they created. We were not immediately offered alternatives or assistance, and to make matters worse, we were told we needed to leave the lobby while trying to figure out where we would go for the night. Being stranded late at night due to poor management and lack of customer care is unacceptable. This experience was stressful and disappointing, and I would strongly caution others before booking here.
