The Golden Saddle is a beautiful, custom-built log home on the west side of Wallowa Lake. It's perfect for your family vacation, a couples' getaway, or a romantic weekend, offering an expansive deck with breathtaking views of Wallowa Lake, the Eagle Cap Wilderness, and the awe of the east moraine.

Step inside to find four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and incredible views and workmanship throughout. Downstairs, there's a tiled great room with a large flatscreen TV, a game table, and a pool table for your nightly entertainment. The main level boasts newly refinished hardwood floors and a recently remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. The living area offers another, smaller flatscreen TV, leather furnishings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and sliding glass doors that open onto an expansive deck overlooking Wallowa Lake and your own private boat dock.

The primary suite on the main level offers an adjoining bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a stand-alone shower. The downstairs bedroom has an adjoining bath with a large, tiled shower. The upper level is home to two more bedrooms as well. At night, you'll settle into comfortable beds, luxurious bed linens, and high-quality bath towels and rugs in each bathroom. Your comfort is our top priority!

THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal private docks are typically placed for Memorial Day thru Labor Day. These are placed and pulled by a 3rd party and several variables come into play such as lake levels, snow and company availability. We do our best, but these items are non refundable items if a problem occurs with their timing of putting in the water and pulling from the water.
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
No cable service, but there is a media streaming device/DVD/VCR.
The stairs down to the boat dock are steep.
This is a no-shoes home on the main floor and upper floor; please pack accordingly.
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.
Do not exceed the occupancy or parking limits at any time.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
