Hotel was the best we have stayed at so far. It was quiet. Close by bursa doughnuts and mora bakery. A walk away from tip top coffee and the train history site. We had an amazing time!

Overall, a newly renovated building with friendly service, but I was disappointed about some aspects of the renovation which was not professionally done. The vent/furnace was very loud when it was running, and there was some on and off noise at night coming from the upper floor, which sounded like wood floor cracks, or something behind the wall. I was surprised that a newly renovated building had those issues. Other than that, I was satisfied with our stay.

This place is a gem! Our room was on the corner, and we woke up to what can only be called a "snow globe" view. Most of the staff were above par. Front desk check in was a breeze and very helpful. The bartender (Cindy) was personable and fun to chat with. The little town has a few restaurants and shops. We really liked Beander's and CJ Maggies. Lots of nature activities nearby.

Quirky boutique hotel on a main street in Elkins. Adequate parking behind the hotel in a gravel lot with access to the hotel. Check-in staff was friendly and efficient. Our room on the 6th floor was near the elevator but quiet. It came with amenities and extra towels. The usual sort of breakfast was included and served on the bar off the lobby. Check out was easy. The window in our bathroom did not close all the way and it was cold inside and out. The bar/restaurant off the lobby did not seem to be financially linked to the hotel; although we did not use the restaurant. Our stay was brief, but we liked the hotel atmosphere and location.

The best and most unique hotel in Elkins, where the options are limited to lower and mid tier chains. They have a popular bar and a good restaurant. The free breakfast buffet could be a lot better.

The hotel upgrades were beautiful and tasteful preserving the history of the hotel. The morning desk staff on Monday was extremely friendly and loved hearing about the history of the town. I would definitely recommend this to others
