This beautiful holiday home sits above the town of El Borge, at 230 metres above sea level. That's the only thing you need to know to imagine the breathtaking views that you will enjoy from here: from the smooth hills of the valley, dotted with whitewashed houses, down to the bluest Mediterranean Sea. Once here, you will enjoy the privacy and quietness, thanks to which you will fall in love with the house's setting in a matter of seconds.

The rustic ambience of the indoor space mingles with the modern-day comforts of the rooms, thus guaranteeing the most relaxing stay for you and your loved ones. Wooden furniture, terracotta floors, brick details and modern equipment, all come together to provide the most welcoming atmosphere. The double-height living space welcomes two comfortable sofa beds, which are ideal for sleeping a relaxing siesta. The fully equipped kitchen is integrated into the living space, as is the dining table for six people.

The holiday home is also provided with three bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with two twin beds. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a tub, complete the layout of the rental.

The bedrooms are provided with warm/cool air-con. The fireplace in the living room is ideal for warming the lounge space up.

Outside, you can easily imagine yourself having endless fun with your loved ones, especially in the covered leisure area. Here, you will find a chill-out area, a wall-mounted TV, a football table and a pool table: everything you could need to enjoy even the (rare) cloudy days. And when the sun shines, make the most of the rest of the outdoor space: the covered dining area and the nearby BBQ, the sun loungers and parasols for relaxing by the pool, and the private pool itself. The house is 7 km far from the towns of Moclinejo and Almáchar, where the closest pharmacy, supermarkets and restaurants are located. From the main road, there is a 4-km dirt track with curves and slopes up to the house.

An absolutely beautiful area

Its setting high up in hills is superb and the facilities at the villa ideal for a family. I should probably have hired a 4x4 rather than an estate because the track access takes roughly 15 minutes to negotiate and some of it is very steep.

Not as good as expected

Had a few problems on first day, some had been sorted quickly. Jacuzzi was main problem only used couple of times due to the water not heating up. This was the biggest disappointment as we couldn't use for last 4-5 days. Jacuzzi was is only tested weekly which is not good as it is recommended should be tested daily. The 4km drive to the villa was testing but ok after couple of journeys. Location was good, very remote.

Fantastic property with fantastic views!

What a view! The drive to the property is well worth it and it does get easier the more you drive it, please don't let it put you off. Francisco is a lovely host and although we spoke no Spanish, and he spoke no English, with the help of Google translate it was easy. The Villa has everything you need for a lovely stay and Francisco says he is doing more upgrades, looking forward to seeing them in the near future. Seeing birds of prey flying above you from the pool, having a lovely breeze with views of the sea too... what else can you ask for from a home from home. Thank you Francisco and family for our wonderful holiday.. see you soon we hope.

Schöne Tage in wunderbarer Ruhe

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in einem ruhigen und sehr schönem Haus in den " Bergen" erlebt . Maria und Francisco sind sehr nette Gastgeber und um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt. Danke dafür. Wir werden die schöne Zeit in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten und kommen sicher wieder......... Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit Vespen und können den Tip geben einfach eine Sprühflasche mit Wasser befüllen und sprühen.....das mögen die Vespen nicht und man hat Ruhe :-)
