I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, including this one several times before, but this visit was a bit disappointing. When we checked in, the room wasn’t quite what I was expecting, so I asked about upgrading. The front desk told me I’d have to cancel my reservation and rebook at nearly double the cost. The night before, I stayed at another hotel (booked through the same Expedia site), and they were happy to offer me an upgrade for $20, no hassle at all.
We had booked for a couple of nights, and during our stay, our room was never cleaned nor were we asked if we needed anything, which was disappointing. Even the breakfast experience felt off, the staff seemed short-tempered and condescending rather than welcoming.
I’ve always believed good service makes all the difference, and unfortunately, the front-end staff here just didn’t seem very friendly, helpful, or customer oriented this time. It’s unfortunate, because I’ve stayed here before and really enjoyed it, but this trip left me feeling like the focus on guest experience has slipped. Hopefully, management takes this feedback to heart, the hotel itself has great potential, it just needs staff who truly value their guests.
