First room we were given was the size of a college dorm room and very, very plain. Rooms were not at all like advertised photos. The included breakfast was superb! Huge variety and very tasty.

Great little hotel. Close to loads of shops on Princes Street and not too far from the train station and all the tourist sites. Was surprised how decent the included breakfast was, and the rooms are nicely decorated. All in all, surpassed my expectations and will definitely stay again.

This hotel was comfortable, quiet and convenient for our brief stay in Edinburgh. Breakfast was nice. I think the Staff needs to be more friendly and accommodating to guests. Nobody ever greeted us with a friendly smile or greeting. Despite this, the hotel suited our needs and was close to everything.

Hotel has a modern vibe. The lobby and bar area overlook St Andrew’s Square, a quiet and peaceful park with tram stop to airport. Shops and restaurants abound on side streets. It’s a 20 minute walk to the castle and Royal Mile and we walked to river walk and ruins too.

Superb location for sightseeing. As it is off the main streets it is quieter and they have THE best most powerful shower I have experienced in a hotel of this budget.
