The property was beautiful and the history of the building is amazing. I would have booked everything a solid 5 except we couldn't get Netflix to work in either of our 2 rooms.

Lovely stay!

Beautiful hotel, my only complaint is that the king bed I wanted was really just 2 twins pushed together and I kept falling in the canyon between them. Breakfast was awesome, location was lovely.

Staff are always so pleasant. The restaurant is great & they always try ti accommodate you to check in earlier if the rooms are ready. Rooms are a good size and have refrigerators. We love this hotel!!!

Themed rooms based on influence people towards peace. WW2 NL location for peace signing between Germany and Canadians. Outstanding personal service and very good food.

Fantastic welcoming hotel

Very good hotel. Rooms were spacious, modern and very comfortable with aircon and the bathrooms are amazing. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. The hotel is modern and equipped to a very high standard. Its in a nice location and is a must for WW2 buffs due to the part it palyed in the war. The food is very good and well priced

The new owner has been in place for about two years -- during the pandemic -- and has used the time to improve everything. The staff is excellent. Very nice dining rooms and lounge. Easy access to everything in town and to the university. It's the best place in Wageningen to stay.

Perfect and unique!

After being in many nice, comfortable “chain” hotels, the hotel de wereld was a very nice surprise. It’s so very unique! Which sets it apart in our opinion. Their vision is to create each guest room in honor of a person who has contributed to the cause of freedom. We were in room 107, dedicated to Ingrid Lindgren of “Pippi Longstocking” fame. Such a whimsical room, with a real swing and reminders of the book and shows everywhere! We didn’t see any other rooms but ours was just the best. Beyond the decor, though, the service, friendliness, excellent-English-speaking team members, breakfast (huge and excellent!) and location are just top-notch. Very highly recommend this hotel!

BEST HOTEL IN NETHERLANDS

I stay here a bit when i travel to Wag for work. Couldn't recommend this hotel more. Staff are awesome, rooms are nice and very comfortable.Hotel has a good vibe and feel to it. Don't stay anywhere else apart from here. Cheers, Richard (Australia)
