The apartment did not have enough bath towels, hand towels or wash cloths when we arrived and it took multiple requests to get someone to come bring us more. By that time, we had found some in the basement. There were no kitchen towels or cloths to wash dishes and the apartment was generally poorly stocked-no hand soap, 1 roll of paper towels etc. Apartment would not warm beyond 62 degrees. Our socks and feet were black after walking on floors even though there was no easily visible dirt. There was a mildly unpleasant odor throughout apartment. There was no top sheet on one of the beds. The water in the shower went from scalding to cold every few seconds while showering. But the biggest issue was that the washer was broken and this was a known issue before our arrival (maintenance man told me that he had recommended a new washer to management). I had asked specifically about the laundry facilities because this was very important for this trip and I was not notified about the broken washer or given an opportunity to find other accommodations. Ultimately, we chose to find another vacation rental because these issues were too many to deal with while we were on vacation. I did not address these issues with the management company prior to moving out after one night because I was not willing to have maintenance and or delivery men constantly in our space while we were trying to enjoy our time together. Management has stopped responding and my request for a refund ignored.

Great location

Property was clean and comfortable. It is important to note that if you are running air conditioners, and too many other things at once...you could blow a fuse. Problem was addressed quickly. Overall, comfortable space with most of the necessities and was close to where I needed to drop kids for dance daily.

Some pros, some cons

Pros: comfortable beds, great location, plenty of parking, new furniture, nice home overallCons: This property is run by a management company, not by an individual property owner. During our stay I asked a question in the Vrbo messages part of the app, and I never received a response. This is obviously a new rental and needs more supplies and attention: there are no pans in the kitchen (only pots), not enough toilet paper available for our 4-day stay (we ran out on the morning of day 3!), layout in kitchen doesn’t allow for all cabinets to open, layout in second bedroom doesn’t allow for bedroom door to close if trundle bed is being used, layout in living room places people too close to the tv to watch comfortable. Check-out instructions are very “old school” (strip beds, hand wash and dry dishes and put them all away) are examples of the check-out expectations. Many vrbos have moved passed such strict check-out expectations. There is an expectation of removing all trash, which is totally reasonable, but there are no trash bins available to place trash once it’s removed from the house. We will pick a different property next time, and the lack of communication will keep us from renting properties managed by Evolve.

Easy Landing

This cute home is in a little side neighborhood in town with plenty of parking and an easy walk across the park to a mill building with a couple of favorite haunts: two breweries, a circus school, art and fitness studios. The walk to downtown is a bit further, but doable. The house had ample room for sitting and visiting separate form the cooking and eating space in the kitchen and there was plenty of room in the bedrooms to spread out our luggage bags.

Family Friendly Easthampton House

My brother-in-law and nieces live walking distance from here so that was the primary factor in choosing this location. We really enjoyed the house and pretending we lived in New England for a few days.

Northampton Weekend

This was a super nice stay: great location to attend the Back Porch Music Fest. Easy drive to Tree House Brewery in Deerfield. Property was very nice, clean, had ammenities for a great stay. Host was extremely helpful to me. I highly recommend!

Perfect little spot

The space was just what we needed for a reading retreat weekend. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Walking distance to main strip and a few local shops. Recommendations for the owner: add a few wine glasses & a drying mat/rack. Everything was in great working order.
