Overall, this was a nice property and a good getaway for my family. The home is in a secluded area with plenty of space, and the bedrooms and living areas were comfortable and as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, and having a dumpster at the end of the property made disposing of trash easy. Check-in was also smooth.However, a few things could definitely be improved. For a 400 cleaning fee, the cleanliness was disappointing. The floors didn’t appear to be properly swept or mopped—our socks were black after walking around—and we noticed dust and some stains on the bedroom linens.It would also be very helpful if the host provided a physical instruction manual in the house. We had to keep referencing the online listing for things like the dishwasher, and there were no instructions for the bathtub in the bedroom. When we tried to use it, the faucet was leaking, so we didn’t end up using it.The outdoor area was nice but not fully set up when we arrived. Chairs were flipped over and there were some empty bags around, so we had to arrange things ourselves. If you plan to use the fire pit, make sure to bring your own firewood.Checkout was another downside. Our stay fell during daylight saving time, so we lost an hour overnight. We asked about a small extension but the host wasn’t flexible. Someone arrived about 15 minutes before checkout and waited in the driveway while we were loading the cars, which made the departure feel a bit uncomfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! Nothing beats swimming in a warm pool while it’s snowing outside. The house was very clean upon arrival. Everything went smoothly during our stay. We hope to stay again soon!
