Welcoming and sweet

Adorable, clean, and safe. A perfect place to rest after a day of adventuring. Walkable to coffee, pastries and barbecue. Wall unit A/C cools in minutes and the room is stocked with heavenly local coffee. Don’t give your dollars to Big Hotel, stay local!

I love the renovated older motel. It reminded me of stays with my family when I was just a kid. They have certainly brought that feeling into the present.

Great local motel!

We enjoyed our stay at this newly renovated retro style motel! Reminded us of our stays growing up. The front desk was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Durango CO
Just like old times! Feels great to support local businesses instead of big chain businesses.

This was such an unexpected find. Quaint little motel with wonderful staff willing to go above and beyond. Out check-in person was so friendly and helpful. They even had wine glasses for us to use.

Very clean, updated property with chic deco. Comfy beds, dog friendly, great gazebo for family time or leisure time. Just up the road from Main Street. We loved the service…we felt welcomed and not lost amongst many.

Hidden gem. Quiet, quaint ~ thoughtfully decorated and renovated. Very comfortable beds, the big pink bathtub was huge! Peaceful. The outdoor area was perfect to unwind in the fresh air Staff at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable- very helpful

The host was very friendly and responsive too! They even offered us bikes to check out free for a bike ride or to ride to town. It was so much fun. We decided we wanted to do the day train ride from Durango to Silverton but didn't have a car that day to drive to the train station. The trolley was just a block away which made it so convenient as it takes you really close to the train station and also free. Overall we loved it and would stay here again. The room was great, it had a sofa bed and two full size bunk beds that fit two people each, very comfortable! Our family of 5 was happy to stay here. There was a nice little kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, cups and silverware for those of you planning a longer stay. We were traveling from Texas and when you hear 'motel' you aren't expecting more than what you pay. Here it was the opposite, the hosts were very accomodating that you forget you're in a motel.

The rooms have been upgraded, but the room size is smaller than chain hotels. Everything worked fine. The courtyard is very nice. Better in the evening when the traffic dies down.
