We had such a lovely stay at Dunston Hall! The hotel is beautiful, our room was comfortable, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant was a real highlight. The food was delicious, and Kieran made the evening extra special with his friendly, attentive service. He really went the extra mile and made our meal one to remember. Thank you to Kieran and the whole team

Lovely Hotel but like Fawlty Towers for the meal!

Come here with the children and the pool facilities. Pool warm, changing room freezing. Breakfast was good, evening meal service very poor. Had to ask for some food which was forgotten, children wanted hot chocolate and was given a cup of lukewarm chocolate with no marshmallows or cream and when questioned they said they did not have them but still charged full price for them. The room was ok with 2 queen beds but the pillows were very long and hung of the sides which made you feel like you were going to fall out of bed in the night. Bathroom was ok, a bit tired with peeling paint. The room was hot so we had to have the windows open which was draughty, there was not way to control the room temperature. A shout out to Helen at breakfast who was lovely. Many staff were very young and inexperienced, we laughed and called it a Fawlty Towers experience! We did not eat there a second night due to our expereince, their loss.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 - Lovely Stay at Dunston Hall We had a lovely stay at Dunston Hall. Our room was upgraded on arrival, which was a wonderful surprise! The room itself was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed, perfect for a relaxing night. The bar and restaurant were excellent, and the chef was more than happy to cater to my dietary requirements, which was much appreciated. The spa was quiet and calm a great spot to unwind. All of the staff, especially the reception team, were professional, kind, and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well-kept, though the outside seating area could have used a bit of tidying up. There were some scattered chairs, ashtrays that looked like they’d been left out for a while, which was a shame because everywhere else looked so lovely. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Lovely location and hotel is very peaceful and quiet. Lovely breakfast and staff friendly and helpful. Only negatives were that in the spa the steam room thermostat is not working properly- no steam coming out and the jacuzzi was not hot. Spa and in standard rooms - toiletries are minimal please could you supply hair conditioner. A plug next to the bedside would be handy to plug phones in
