A code was needed to enter the building and to enter the room. During our two day stay, customer service had to be contacted twice to assist with code issues. Once to the room, once to the external door. Also had issues with the code for the room, however I was inside and let my husband in. This was stressful due to being in the middle of winter and myself being on crutches.

Not your typical hotel. The room was large, the beds were comfortable. It was relatively quiet. The only problem we had was that my husband got locked out of the building on check out day. You're given a code to use during your stay to get in the building. My husband went out for coffee at 7 and tried the code and was met with 'code expired'. What if we all had gone out? Would we be on the street and our stuff inside? Hoping it v was a glitch.

We love old homes and enjoyed the historic feel of the Oliver Inn. Parking in the ramp directly across the street was very convenient. The room’s coded entry worked out great. Our room was a generous size (the bathroom too!) and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and had a nice selection of comfortable pillows. The couch was great too! They had a nice iron, ironing board and Nespresso machine. The Inn has a great downtown location- close to campus, downtown dining and shopping. There was a homeless presence very nearby, but as other reviews had stated, there was no problem. There is a nice bar & restaurant downstairs too. The price can’t be beat for the included amenities and great location. We hope to stay again! :)
