Not anything like the pictures. Hallways very dark and smelled of cigarettes. The person that checked us in was horrible. Breakfast was supposed to be available, there wasn't & there wasn't even any coffee! The room was clean but very out dated. I'm handicapped & the toilets are the old & low so difficult. They call it the lake walk but its quite away from the lake.

Disappointing breakfast

If you just need a place to lay your head quick - this hotel meets that need. While the room seemed clean, the beds/pillows weren't very comfortable. Parking was a little tricky being a full house. And, I was told at check-in my grandkids would be able to make their own waffles for breakfast and we were very disappointed to not be offered any waffles - apparently because it was a weekday. This was not a planned stay and had to grab what we could - it wasnt horrible, just disappointing. Staff was friendly.

We ended up moving hotels. We were given a room and then someone else was given the same room, they walked in as they had key access. Our keys were shut off without notice and we were locked out, and had to recheck in. Would not recommend for service or cleanliness.

checked in at 4:23 pm room not cleaned dirty towels on floor garbage full bed not made outside door on side lock broken anyone could walk in no room card needed very unsecure broken bottle in outside parking lot this is why we were unable to check in when desk clerk notified of conditions he laughed and said he would have to talk with staff want a refund for unable to stay in such a place

For the price this was a good stay. Don’t expect much, although the sauna is a good add. Check in was easy and straightforward. The hotel premises show age. Room is somewhat good with everything you need (hair dryer, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Breakfast is the basic of the basic. This is a good place for a quick stay in Duluth on the way to your final destination. Close to everything in Duluth. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and leave this is the place. Overall would stay again if it was only one night, for more than one night I would look at somewhere else.

Solid little hotel

Room was clean and the cost per day was reasonable. If all you're looking for is a clean spot to come back to at night after exploring Duluth I'd recommend it.

Lot's of deferred maintenance. Room was clean but the TP dispenser was falling of the wall. Breakfast was very slim pickings. McDonalds, Burger King just next door and Perkins down the street.
