The property is set on a golf course and not located at Omaha Beach. Just a little further away from where we thought it would be. The hotel was lovely, very clean and the breakfast options were excellent.

The hotel had great staff. The common areas are nice and very well done. The only thing that prevented a 5 star rating was the very small and dated feel of the room we had. It felt more like staying at an aunt’s house than a hotel. It was our first time in the area, so I don’t know if that’s standard for the area. Given the very limited options in that area, the proximity to Omaha Beach, and the friendliness of the staff, would recommend, and stay again.

Room was very tired for a 4 star property. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned & smelt unpleasant. Walls were covered in dust & mould around the ceiling. Location was great & all staff friendly

Very friendly staff but our room was tiny and had an alcove on one side which we both accidentally bumped out heads against. Dinner was good but service was a little slow. It was quite serviceable for our needs but nothing special unless you are a golfer or with a large group like the Roads Scholars we meet there.

The place was great and the staff was fantastic. Please note you need a car if staying in this area. It was very hard to get taxi’s (especially in August) and there are no Uber’s in the area. The staff was super accommodating in helpful us get to the D Day sites we wanted to see
