We enjoyed our stay at Keaven’s Port, where we stayed twice during our visit to Ireland. Facilities were clean and comfortable, staff was warm and helpful. We loved being walking distance to everything we wanted to see and visit in Dublin. There was some noise during the night, but that comes naturally with staying in the city centre, so we didn’t mind. The restaurant and bar in the hotel was also wonderful and very convenient. Our only concern was with the bouncers who are stationed at the doors during the evening — we were told to use the pub doors since they were closer to our room, but every time we came through, the bouncers asked my husband and I for ID despite us having seen them earlier. We explained we were hotel guests and they let my husband through, but stopped me by touching my arm and asking how old I was. I’m nearly 30. We understand they need to do their jobs, but found them to be quite abrasive and impolite. Aside from those interactions, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family!
