My expectations were very of this hotel but went downhill on arrival. This was supposed to be a birthday treat for my daughter. I’m not here to put this hotel but it’s only fair to share my experience. On arrival took my taxi had to wait around 20 minutes to get through que. No one on site to manage the traffic into the hotel. Many people frustrated. Taxi charged us extra and no one helped us unload our luggage from the taxi. Me and my family are vegetarian and we were half board. One is a steak restaurant and the other one you cannot take children. So the only restaurant you can eat only had vegetarian 2 dishes. After complaining they finally got us some extra vegetarian food but the variety wasn’t there. When eating the same food every time for example pizza. At checkin we were not given our half board vouchers for our meals that caused confusion for staff. The first day we found our room to have ripped pillow cases and bedsheets that my wife noticed and wasn’t happy. After the bed sheets were changed we found insects crawling over the pillow. What an inconvenience to repack our luggage and move room. The wait times for the lifts are crazy during breakfast time. Our room pack included a trip to the beach. It was my daughters birthday on the day of the visit to the beach and this was ruined as the restaurant only had 1 dish on the menu that was vegetarian. My whole family were disappointed by the experience. Hotel is next to a building site.

the free shuttle service described on expedia was misleading as the shuttle only went to dubai mall and not any other location. they also did not provide any pick up from the location. the breakfast buffet also closed too early

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, which made the stay nice, but the hotel itself was very noisy. I could hear the traffic and car horns from the street and I could hear the water running/furniture being moved from the next rooms. The room also had a mildew smell in it and the air didn't get very cold, which was bad since it's hot there. The website says that the hotel is 2.3 miles from the mall but it is actual 3.5, which is a decent amount since I was planning on walking there.
