Disappointed - Hotel was closed

We arrived at the hotel and found it was closed due to flooding. We received no notification from the hotel or Hotels.com there was any issue with our accomodation and in fact received an email 2 days before our stay asking if we wish to upgrade our stay. There was a handwritten notice on the front of the hotel advising us to ring for help - the number provided would not connect via our mobiles or a land line. Very disappointed with this booking.

Please remove the carpets in the rooms they are too old and even cleaning them its now beyond hoovers I was sneezing all night ended up buying antihistami e tablets which is not good at all.the toilet sink drains very slowly and the tspe is damaged

The rooms were more than adequate and clean. Hot shower, coffee pot, fridge, and safe for your belongings. Restaurant on site was good and very reasonable. Walk to the Mall of the Emirates with Ski Dubai. The only negative would be no gym & pool at the hotel but you can use the adjoining hotels facilities.
