It's a nice place less popular than Melrose Abbey but also very beautiful.
I didn't have perfect conditions but I did my best to give some idea about this place.
You need to buy a ticket to get inside and there is no access early in the morning or late evening.

A view from the top of a VERY narrow staircase at Dryburgh Abbey.
A beautiful location to walk about, and at only 6 pounds entry fee totally worth it. They have a pricy hotel on the grounds should you want to stay in the area and see the Abbey, hike about a bit and see the surrounding countryside and towns.
Dryburgh Abbey, perhaps the most beautiful of all the Scottish border abbeys built on the banks of the river Tweed and home to the graves of one of Scotland's most influential romantic writers Sir Walter Scott, and Field Marshal Douglas Haig, Commander-in-Chief of the British forces in France for much of WWI.

Lovely location, very friendly staff, great food and a comfortable stay. The property is a gem in the rough - the common areas present beautifully but the room was a bit tired (but still very comfy)

Exceptionally clean and fresh-smelling hotel. It's a quirky place that's strangely charming. I really liked it and will be back.
