Downtown Cannon Beach accommodation with pool

My Mom and I stayed at the Surfsand Resort over Mothers Day weekend. Overall a very nice place to stay. Staff is wonderful and amenities very nice. My only issue was our ocean view room. We stayed in the Northern most building and the hedge/bushes were totally blocking any view towards the North and the building to the south was located much further out than ours so there was no view toward the South. The view straight out was good (some bushes blocking the beach view). We were on the first floor, higher rooms may have had a better view to the North. Paying close to 900 dollars for 2 nights and booking an oceanfront room it was very disappointing. Those rooms should be called partial view rooms.

Wonderful!! Loved every moment here. The view, the room, the cookies, the chairs at the beach and bikes. Cannot wait to come back for a longer stay.

Very much appreciated the upgrade so that I could stay on the first floor. Didn’t realize there was no A/C, but able to open windows so definitely helped. I ended up needing a blanket overnight. The shower area was a bit small for me, but it did the job. Location is awesome!

Parking was great. Staff was intermittent. I asked for an extra towel and was told 2 different times I would receive it and I never got it. Otherwise, all was good.

We rented it at a great price and your surprise it had a full kitchen!!!! Really loved that! Loved the fireplace and the bed was very comfortable loved the fact that the living room and sleeping area was separate ( it had a bedroom )
