The dock is removed late October to prepare for the winter, and is put back in mid May. The house is less than 5 minutes from a public boat launch. You are welcome to trailer your boat any time the ice is out! Kayaks are still usable when the dock is removed.
This house is a year round rental. Winter rentals offer tremendous local ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing. Access all major ITS trails directly from the lake.
For safety and fraud prevention, we may request ID verification for new VRBO accounts or guests without prior positive reviews (you may redact address/DOB).
House Rules:
Access to the garage is prohibited.
Personal items in the basement are off limits unless agreed upon between the host and guest. Please respect our property.
No smoking/vaping inside or outside.
No parties or events in the house without prior permission from the host. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
No unregistered guests. Pets are not longer allowed, sorry for the inconvenience.
Quiet hours are from 9PM to 7AM.
No Illegal Activity on the premises.
Please wash all used dishes or placed in dishwasher prior to departure.
Please strip beds and place all linens, pillowcases, towels, and washcloths in the washer and/or laundry basket.
Leave all trash in trash bin outside by garage.
Please report any broken items to the host immediately.
Please treat the house as if it is your own house. We appreciate it!
Please ensure door is locked upon departure, if it is not, contact host to inform them the door is not locked.
**For safety, please unplug electric heater in upstairs bedroom when not actively in use.
Use of exercise equipment in basement is at your own risk.
Upon checkout, please leave the house in the same condition as when you arrived.
Lake Rules:
No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk
No unsupervised children under 18 down by the lake
Please put away or hang up life jackets and lake accessories each evening
Remove all kayaks and items from water
at the end of each day. The use of kayaks, water equipment, and the dock is at your own risk. A life jacket MUST be worn at all times when using kayaks
Put out all fires before leaving the fire pit each day/night
Put all swimming items away dry before departure
Do not leave trash down by the lake
