Welcome to beautiful Donsö, a holiday paradise in the southwest archipelago of Gothenburg.
The ferry that takes approx. 15 minutes to the partially car-free island departs from Saltholmen, where the adventure begins. Using local transport to get to Saltholmen is recommended as free parking cannot be guaranteed. The same tickets are valid on the tram there as on the ferry.
Our contact person will pick you up at the ferry terminal, let us know your arrival time, and she will come with a golf cart and be available during your stay to help with any questions or requests. Cleaning and bed linen are included in the service fee of 2700 SEK.
The cottage is located on the northwest of Donsö, a short walk to saltwater swimming and exciting fishing excursions, near the bridge over to Styrsö. The holiday home, built in the 1950s, has a high cosiness factor, three bedrooms for seven guests, a shower and bathtub in the basement. A west-facing terrace and a large garden with outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill.
Hiker-friendly walking paths go around both islands and invite you to picnic with fresh shrimp and a fantastic view of the West Sea. The island is an old fishing community with well-preserved picturesque wooden buildings famous for its beautiful nature. If you want to see it from the sea, there are kayaks for rent.
