Stoliv also looks across to the beautiful village of Perast and the famous islands of Gospa od Skrpjela (Lady of Skrpjela) and Sveti Dorde (St George). Stoliv is approximately 15 minutes drive from the historic town of Kotor. There is also a local bus service to Kotor old town and to Tivat. You are ideally situated for all of your sightseeing trips around the peninsula. There are a variety of local restaurants, shops & bars in Stoliv and in nearby Precanj. Stoliv is a great place for family holidays as it is one of the only villages around the bay of Kotor with a beach, which is only 50 meters from the apartment. This location is great for water sports, walkers & trackers. You should visit during your stay, the Kotor Cable Car, it is an unforgettable 11-minute gondola ride on the Kotor–Lovćen cable car which is just the beginning of a full-day adventure you'll remember for a long time to come. Lovćen national park, great for trekker’s & walkers alike. Skadar Lake is well worth a visit where you can take boat rides to enjoy its natural beauty, flora & fauna and its wonderful bird life. There are reportedly 280 bird species living on and about the lake. You can also swim from boats on the lake.
