A taste of contemporary Kerry

Highly recommend Base for a short stay in Dingle. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in, it’s perfectly located, and it’s great value. Everything feels new and modern but not sterile – there is a strong sense of local culture thanks to the lovely selection of Irish art around the place!

Location was perfect. The room was modern and clean. I was happy to see they had a blow dryer and conditioner as well. 10/10 value for the money I would definitely recommend staying here.

We were hiking the Dingle Way and planned a rest day in Dingle. We treated ourselves to two nights at Base Accommodation. The location was fantastic! However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Our shower was so moldy. We told the front desk before we went to walk around for the day. When we returned five hours later our room had not been touched. At all. We spoke to a different woman at reception and she was so accommodating. She showed us four other rooms before we found one with the right number of beds and a cleaner shower. The rest of the hotel was very clean. It just looked like housekeeping kept skipping the showers.

This hotel is in the PERFECT location to everything Dingle offers, plus soundproof quiet room with blackout curtains, coffe & tea in room and a mini fridge - staff was over the top helpful and friendly I would stay again and recommend to friends

Great, convenient location. Staff was helpful and the premises were clean and welcoming. For the price, this was a great stay and we really loved the room design. It was surprisingly quiet, even though we were on the first floor, right on the street.

2 Night Stay - rooms were not cleaned, towels left as requested & after a long day of sightseeing upon our return wet towels still on the bathroom floor. Checked with front desk and they ended up giving us clean towels, replacement coffee & clean mugs.

Our visit was good. So convenient, just a short walk to everything. Liked having the very nice grocery store so close so we could pick up pastries, lunch, etc. we were there May, 2025, when the weather was abnormally warm. Our 3rd floor room was not air conditioned which was a definite negative. All in all we would stay there again.

Base Dingle is the perfect place to stay as it’s centered to everything in town! Staff was super friendly and lovely and our room and view were beautiful. Our only complaint would be our sheets and bedding were stained. Cleaned, but stained.

It’s a modern vibe, hotel girl at the desk was super helpful. My room was good. There’s an elevator, which is nice and it’s a great location. It can be a bit noisy when people are coming back from partying on the town in dingle, but that’s to be expected. I don’t think that’s an every night thing I was only there for the one evening. People just having fun and harmless.

Very cute property but no A/C or fan and the room was hot for sleeping. There was not an extra sheet for sleeping so the only choice was a heavy comforter or nothing at all.

Parking is street only and very very limited. There is no ac and no fans. Street extremely loud so with windows open at night it was impossible to sleep. Very tiny rooms. But it was clean. Towels were thread bare. Close to everything and made walking the town easy.
