This was my second stay @ Karen's. It was PERFECT for me. I could live in a tiny home just like this! It's walking distance to downtown Birmingham...restaurants and shopping. Plenty of parking and sidewalks for long walks. The mini-split unit keeps the studio at the right temp and there's even a baseboard heater in the bathroom.I'll stay every year when I visit my son.

Great location, even better hosts!

Karen and Wayne were great! The location was perfect for getting to know the area and Birmingham has a great downtown. The studio is as cute as advertised and perfect for one or two people looking for a safe area to stay. Would absolutely recommend or stay again!

Outstanding!

Absolutely wonderful. Karen and her husband, Wayne, are a lovely couple who really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. Wayne even helped us unload all our luggage when we arrived! Karen responds immediately to any request, question or clarification. The apartment is spotless and has every facility one could ask for, and more! The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom perfect, and even the TV has free Netflix and Amazon Prime! I challenge anyone to find a better place, in a better location, at a better price. We shall definitely be back!!

Perfect little hideaway

There are three main things I look at before anything else when I stay anywhere: Is it safe? Is it clean? Can I sleep in the bed? The answer here is an absolute yes. The bed was extremely supportive and comfortable. My wife and I had no problems getting our rest, as the above-garage studio was isolated from traffic on an already quiet street. The cleanliness was perfect, and instructions for everything in the room were readily available on the storage box by the entrance to the room. Our hostess was hospitable and not imposing (she and her husband live in the house on the property)and even offered
