Excellent location

Very relaxing and peaceful. The staff were lovely and very easy access to a beautiful beach!!

A lovely place to stay! The room is spotless, the lobby is comfortable, and the breakfast is outstanding. The only minor drawback is that you need a taxi or will have to drive to the old town; the distance is too far to be walkable. Front desk staff can readily call a taxi, however -- and to return to the hotel, you just walk to the train station to find a cab.

You can’t go wrong here, folks. This building is grand. The service is excellent and you’re just a blocks away from the sea and the train station, Couple that with the amazing rooftop breakfast and the fact that if you really wanted to, you could actually walk to the airport, (I have) and you’ve got all the bases covered!

A Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful experience at the Nicolaus Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and well taken care of. The free shuttle from the airport was a huge plus and made our arrival stress-free. The room was spacious enough for our family, which was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we all slept so well. Even the little things were thoughtfully done – we absolutely loved the soap! Now, the breakfast… hands down the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. There were so many choices, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties – something for everyone, and everything was delicious. We also appreciated that there were plenty of good food options just a short walk up the road, which made dining out super convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend!
