Splash Pad DOES NOT WORK.

Everything was good except for the splash pad not working. We were very disappointed to find out our 2yr old could not play on the splash pad because it was broken. It was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The pillows in the room are not great. They become flat. To the point where you are sleeping with your head on the mattress. The free breakfast was just ok. It would have been nice if they switched it up a little bit. It was the same thing everyday. The thermostats in the room don’t work correctly. We had ours set to 68° and it would still be blasting cold air and reading 66° without turning off. For the price of the hotel it was a decent stay. I wouldn’t pay more than $150 a night for this hotel.

We loved the outdoor area, there is a really nice park right behind the property. The only downfall was the splash pad wasn't working during our stay.

My kids and I had severe food poisoning after staying here. The workers working with food are not wearing gloves or following proper sanitation protocol. Upon informing the property manager of our sickness, the manager called me "to give me closure" the closure was that she gaslight me and said there is nothing she can do for me.

Overall, this hotel was really nice! My only complaints were the smell of weed from some guests in the elevator and the front desk clerk casually eating chips while talking to us—it just felt a bit unprofessional, and I would know I have worked in customer service. The GYM at the hotel is perfect to get a little workout in. There is a hot-tub and a pool. There was cornhole on site. Breakfast was great for the most part, but they ran out of eggs on our last day, which was a little disappointing. Now, the coffee at the hotel? Absolutely terrible. No joke—it was seriously bad. We ended up going to Maas Coffee about a mile away, and wow—what a difference! Their coffee was amazing, and the staff was super friendly. Instagram: @maascoffeedestin One of the best parts about this place is the location. You can walk to the beach, and there are tons of things to do nearby—go-karts, an arcade, lots of great restaurants. Everything is just a short walk away! The shops are great for getting things for the kids. THE FOOD is very expensive there, so if you have a family of 4, be prepared to spend at least $75 to $130 on lunch/dinner, depending on where you go. Our vacation to Destin was worth the money. In April, the water is cold, so going to CRAB ISLAND is very expensive and not worth it, but going at the end of May or June would be better! We went with a family of 4, 2 kids 2 adults Ages 4 & 10. If you go to the waterpark, BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL!
