Welcome to "Destined for Fun," a truly one-of-a-kind, 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath vacation home with a private pool and cabana house! Destined For Fun is only two houses from the beach entrance (yes, seriously....only 2 houses away) and located in the beautiful residential community of Crystal Beach. If being extremely close to the beach is what you are looking for, then "Destined For Fun" is destined for you!
The front door is only 75 to 85 steps ( depending on your size step) away from the sugar white sand beaches of Destin! You will also have a breathtaking views of the Gulf of America from this amazing beach home. For your convenience, a pull cart will be available to help you easily get your toys, ice chests or beach gear to the beach and back. ( Many toys, sand pails, etc. in storage room at home)
When you return from all the fun at the beach, you'll have plenty of space to relax in your very own 24x12 private pool ( PS: ask us about optional pool heat), complete with a pool deck, filled with comfy furniture, and a separate pool Cabana House. This means your family can soak up the sun, take a splash in the pool and cook out on the BBQ grill while enjoying all the amenities that this spectacular home has to offer. The Cabana House is a one-bedroom hideaway ( perfect for teenagers or maybe even the grandparents who want a peaceful place of their own). The Cabana House features a full bath, kitchenette, and living room. It can sleep up to 4 people comfortably with a King bed and a Queen sleeper sofa. It also sports a full bath and big walk in closet
Take a step inside the main house to enjoy the open living room with a large flat-screen TV, and an extra-large sectional sofa for extra seating. This is the perfect gathering spot! The connecting dining room seats 10, with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Enjoy cooking at home with the beautiful island kitchen that features granite counters and is fully equipped with everything you need to make your favorite meal. Destined for Fun features 4 King bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms, so everyone can sleep in luxury. Your kids will love the bunk room located on the 2nd floor that includes both a Twin-over-Twin and a Full-over-Full set of bunk beds. Every room features a large flat-screen TV and tons of windows to enjoy the beautiful sunshine of Florida! If you are looking for the perfect spot for a morning coffee, make your way up the spiral staircase to the observation deck with gulf views.
The beach isn't the only attraction at this home! Destined For Fun is within walking distance of the popular outdoor Destin Commons mall which features restaurants, retail shops, a fish-themed bowling alley and the AMC digital movie theater. Restaurants include El Jalisco's, World of Beer, Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl, Chipotle, Johnny Rockets, Red Brick Pizza, Zoe's Kitchen, Yuga Japanese Sushi, and Kilwin's Ice Cream just to name a few.
Destined For Fun is also within a very few blocks of some local eateries. Enjoy your morning coffee at the Camille's which is not only great for breakfast but also offers excellent sushi and fresh seafood for dinner. The property was perfect for us! Plenty of space. Lots of pool and beach assesories. A very good amount of supplies to start with. Plenty of dishes. Plug in fans, crib, high chair, hair dryers. We disnt need thise item's but they were there. A lot of living room/dining room space and outdoor space. It did help us to bring canopies because the sun beams down. The owner , Jeffrey, was easy to communicate with. We didn't really have any issues.Description of home is pretty accurate. Best part, literally 2 minute walk to beach.

Perfect!

House was perfect for our family! So nice to be able to walk to the beach, and see the water from the house! House was very clean. Kitchen very well stocked with anything you may need for cooking meals and grilling out. Ms Jeffry was super nice and very responsive if we had any issues or questions. Such a fun weekend!

The house was absolutely beautiful! It was a perfect get away for a girls weekend! It was in the best location- having restaurants, bars, and the beach all within walking distance. The furniture and decor were so cute and it all felt very homey. The host was so sweet and responsive. She let us have an early check in and late check out and just told us to enjoy! There was one minor thing broken (a door knob) and she was very responsive to us. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

Lovely Weekend by the Beach!

I stayed here with 11 friends to celebrate an upcoming wedding and we loved this property. First of all, everyone slept comfortably. There were enough beds to go around to accommodate our large group, and for that I was very grateful. I slept in the pool house king bed, and slept very peacefully. The proximity to the beach was actually so nice, honestly a lot closer than I was expecting (maybe a 4 minute walk). The couches were comfy for football viewing and napping after beachy mornings. The pool was nice to cool down as well. We were not far from golf and fishing, maybe around 10-15 minutes away from either option. Lastly, Jeffry and her daughter were always very helpful and attentive to any questions we had. I felt supported throughout our stay. All in all, a great time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and only steps from the beach. The only drawback is that the public beach area is VERY SMALL! We were shocked and had never experienced so many private beaches around us. We had to set up before daylight to get a good spot and some mornings it was already filling up with the public beach area being so small! No fault of the owners…just wanted to inform. The house and location were great! We really enjoyed our stay.

Location of Destined for Fun is perfect! Close walk to the beach, close to Publix, close to Destin Commons, close to the best golf courses in Destin. The property was clean including the pool. Jeffry is the best at communicating with you. Love it! Would definitely stay here again!

Great beach house!

We had 16 people with us for my son’s graduation trip that was family and a hand full of teenagers. It was so nice because the teenagers stayed in the pool house so they had their own space but still spent time with us also! House was great, kitchen was one of the most well furnished houses we have been too! Had everything we needed even a crockpot! Location was great! Everywhere we wanted to go was within 20 minutes and that was only that long due to traffic. Only thing to fuss about was the amount of public beach there was. U had to fight a ton of people to find a place to sit while the two hotels on either side had tons of room but you cannot sit there. Of course there is nothing the house owners can do about that and we are planning to rent again but just pack up and go to the larger beach access a few minutes down the road. Overall amazing house, great owners that help with anything we needed!!! Definitely our new Destin beach getaway even with the beach issues!

Home Away From Home

We enjoyed our trip to Destined For Fun very much. We had stayed in a similar home a couple of years ago that had a few issues so we knew we loved the layout, but this one was PERFECT! From the booking process throughout our stay Jeffry was a dream to work with. This is the one week a year I get to spend with my kids and grandkids with zero distractions and having a cozy home to spend that time in was wonderful. The house is very clean and well maintained and we loved the open concept and huge dining table so we could all be together for games and meals. We can’t wait to book our next trip!

Steps away from the ocean!

We booked our trip a month ago for 4th of July week. Jeffry was amazing to work with. Very responsive. The house was great. The location was PERFECT. It was close enough of a walk we didn’t have to carry our little kiddos and our oldest kids could walk back from the beach safely when the adults weren’t ready! Will definitely consider booking again in the future!
