Quiet and peaceful

Comfy beds. Location was good for what we were doing. Staff was friendly. I like the fact it did have a restaurant with bar. It’s not a far walk to light rail/bus center.

Hotel is always being renovated. Staff is good. Phone in room along with TV did not work. Overall room was clean but stained sheets. Not bad just disappointing for the money. Area has some restaurants.

The good: Quiet hotel, convenient location to Golden/Red Rocks, bar/restaurant in the hotel, free parking, cozy bed, nice bathroom. The bad: The room we stayed in had not been renovated yet (we were told it was undergoing renovations when we got there). The halls had exposed wiring and the room’s wallpaper was peeling. The ironing board was so old and crusty that it dropped flakes all over the floor. The tea packets by the coffee were very old and yellowed/crinkled. Pillowcase had mascara stains. It was priced as if it were a renovated hotel, but it was not. It wasn’t awful, but we would find somewhere else to stay next time.

We were not made aware of the construction until it was too late and we were on our way. We were placed in an older room, that didn’t smell great, the shower sprayed everywhere, and the lack of ventilation in the bathroom caused a slick mess. Even after complaining, housekeeping barely kept the rooms daily, and kept leaving less towels than registered guests in our room (if they were replaced at all). To top it off, the phone in our room did not work down to the desk - so we couldn’t even make a quick ring to housekeeping for any issues. The finale was when leaving midday for our planned activity- there was a woman crouched down on the property pants down & urinating. Construction is one thing, but at least bridge the gap with better customer service. VERY disappointing
