The place was good enough & cheap, we came for a wedding and the Motel gave us a place to lay our head. Reception was friendly and effective. Yes, if we came for the same reason than we would stay here.

It was dirty and damaged....repair the damage to the ceiling ,broken tiles etc....sink was filthy as was the bathtub

Property is quite dated and in disrepair. Needs renovations desperately. They were painting the outside when we got there, so they are working on improvements. But for the price, it was expected. Safe and friendly. Just needs help.

I read other reviews about this motel so I was pretty terrified to stay there (I should have read the reviews before it was too late to cancel). It wasn’t bad at all - the bed was squeaky but everything was clean. It’s just an older property. Check in was easy, parking was great, felt safe, walked to the beach, close to the ferry.

Had room 1. Stayed overnight just because of a medical appt. Wanted to be close to the ferry. Room is very old and outdated but comfortable. Door to bathroom is a pocket door and kept coming off the track. Towels were super small and thin. The tub was massive and deep but difficult to shower in. This room had a fridge, sink, microwave and coffee maker. Cutlery and a few other dishes available. Plus couch and chair. Bed was alright. Decently comfortable. AC was old and worn out buttons so didn't know how to adjust. Room was too warm all night. Sweated. Overall 2 out of 5 is pretty accurate. Affordable for hotels but overpriced a little for what you get.

Never Stay Again

There was so much wrong with this motel it was not funny. Moldnin the bathroom, no screens on windows, AC sounded like a plane taking off, Mattress of second bed was worse than a hide a bed couch. Electrical outlets had not protection screens on them, Tub Surround falling off, Toilet seat hanging on with one screw and the fire alarm was removed and sitting on top of the fridge with Dead Batteries in it. I get that this is a 'cheaper' option in the summer but it should have been about $50 bucks. I didnt feel safe with my children there given the electrical outlets and fire detector and none of us slept with the AC and mattresses being the way they were.

I was told no smoking allowed. There was definitely smoking in the room. I went to get the staff. She didn’t come when I rang the bell. I had to call into their living unit. I told her about the smoke and she kept saying “Not Possible!” We sprayed air freshener and used our own bedding aside from the sheets. The hotel was in a nice area and it was quiet.

It's tired and not in good repair. Likely a great spot in the 1970s. Good candidate for an episode of Motel Rescue. The beds were clean and comfortable.
