The property is very coveniently located within walking distance to downtown Del Mar. It is easy to get to downtown San Diego as well. Staff are so friendly and helpful too!

This hotel was much better than I imagined, very clean, excellent service and such a nice ocean view. Walkable to many restaurants in the area as well. They could use more EV charging stations, but I would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay except for the connecting room

The only thing I would change next time we visit, is that a connecting room was assigned to us and there was a door connecting to the other room that was occupied. We could hear everything the guest was doing and at times would wake us up with loud coughs on the last night we were there. I will request a room that doesn't connect to any room the next time we visit.

Relaxing short stay

Though we checked in late evening, we were able to appreciate the comfort of the hotel with access to a “living room” space, public fresh cool water dispenser and coffee/tea access. We also had a warm welcome by staff and who oriented us to hotel’s amenities.

We liked that we could walk to many restaurants from the hotel or grab a quick meal at the hotel itself. The area was nice, great area,great view from our room and the room was good size and well updated.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. It was so nice not to be charged for parking. Our ocean view room was nice and the price was so affordable! We plan on coming back to this hotel. The little cafe on premises was reasonably priced and the food was very good

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but will definitely be back. Such a cute property, easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Room was clean, ocean view was beautiful. My only recommendation is if you want an ocean view, ask for the 3rd floor.
