Nice clean hotel walking distance to train station

My husband and I enjoyed the peaceful time over here. Not the overwhelming lines for food and train. Cinque Terre just a train ride away. So nice!

Good value for short stay

Good value for short stay. The weather was extremely hot 36 degrees so it was disappointing that a balcony room was not available. We stayed in the downstairs rooms which were very clean and looked newly refurbished but the windows were tiny so had limited light and could not sit outside anywhere unless we had a drink in the bar area. The breakfast was superb with a huge choice and well organised. Staff were friendly. Parking was at the train station approx 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Close to the beach, dated facility with no a/c

This hotel is old, the location near the beach and Cinque Terre is a plus but staying in Deiva Marina is not really worth it. This place is good for a budget but will not be a room you look forward to going back to after a long day

Right on beach

Simple room but clean towels daily and clean sheets every two days. 5 star view from balcony separated from beach by promenade . So really quiet. Easy access to Cinque Terre with train station 5 mins walk. Good breakfast and fridge in room. Owner friendly and welcoming. Would go back

Affordable beach getaway.

The room was a bit small, but the price and location could not be beat. Right on the boardwalk, a ridiculously short walk to the beach. Breakfast included fresh fruits as well as usual pastries. Nice people, very clean rooms, but nothing amazing. Pay more and walk a while to the beach, or stay here and be super close, coming back to room and fridge whenever you want to refresh. Supermarket right around corner, short walk to train station so car is not necessary, and lots of good restaurants in walking distance.

Beachfront view - quiet location

Staff were wonderful. Little angles cleaned the room while you had breakfast. Loved the afternoon sunset over the water. Breakfast was good (cereal, yoghurt , fruit, bread, meat & cheese & heaps of cakes. Plus good coffee) Georgio was a wonderful breakfast host. Very special. The room was basic, a bit small but you had a fridge, fan, balcony with a good view & you were minutes away from train station to Cinque Terre towns. Great little village away from the expense of the cinque Terre towns. Plus you had free public beach & it is not all pebbles (some sand) good option away from steps & hills.

Small hotel on the beach

Hotel was easy to find however parking was difficult as we didn't know it was offsite and trying to figure this out in the middle of a hot day where there were people everywhere was difficult. Easy once you knew where to go. Our room was on the ground floor with no view of the beach which was disappointing. Clean room with a separate pull down twin bed which suited us as we needed twin share. Was in a nice quieter town but still close enough (30 minutes approx) to Riomaggiore via train.

A hidden treasure

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Lampara. From the moment we entered, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room and hotel was pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is right on the beach, which is beautiful. The breakfast buffet varied each day, but was generally good. It was nice, quiet, and really lovely. We would definitely consider going back.

Small room on the beach

The room was very small but clean. We had an ocean view and balcony which was very nice. Great location to access Cinque Terre but not swamped with tourists. The breakfast was plentiful and the older gent running the breakfast was very sweet. If you are going to be out all day and you are just looking for a place to sleep, this is a nice choice.

Close and convenient

We stayed at this hotel with the objective to visit Cinque Terre. It was perfect because it was only a 17 min train ride from Monterosso and we found tickets for the train purchasable at a nearby hotel. (4 euros one way). Hotel staff was helpful and guided us to our room. Breakfast was free and incouded in the price. Coffee was made by the staff at our request and brought to our table. It was a bit difficult to locate the hotel, however it is right beside the bridge that crosses the river close to the beach. Overall, we want to return to this hotel and the sea view from our room was amazing.

FIVE-STAR LOCATION

Hotel Lampara is definitely a Five-star location with a three-star price. Deiva Marina is just 2 train-stops from the Cingue Terre. The train station is just 2 short blocks from the hotel. There is a market just 1/2 block away in a charming town. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts with a huge assortment of fresh fruits, cereals, juices, beautiful pastries and the best Cappuccino! The staff are gracious and helpful. This hotel is truly one of the best vacation values around.

Albergo molto accogliente. Posizione spettacolare anche per la vicinanza del mare. Personale molto cordiale. Abbiamo soggiornato in mezza pensione: colazione a buffet abbondante, a cena sempre ottimo cibo con varie scelte tra carne e pesce. La stanza comoda con servizi igienici e doccia ottimi. Sicuramente il rapporto qualità/prezzo e molto conveniente. Grazie mille per l' ospitabilità

Disappointed guests..

Our visit did not go well at all and would probably rank as the worst hotel experience I've had. The parking was not close to the hotel and we had to move the car immediately when we checked out (7am) what the owner did not mention when we checked in. The staff didn't speak any English either so they didn't help us with finding a new parking space. The room was in the basement with no view. The worst part was that we had booked breakfast (all of their rooms included breakfast according to hotels.com) but they wouldn't give it to us even when we showed their page on hotels.com and our booking confirmation that showed the booked breakfast. The owner also got very annoyed and only showed us his own papers. The only reason I would stay here is the location close to the beach. Train-wise it's not the best location, I would rather stay closer to Portofino or Cinque Terre.
