Twin Creeks Cabin - When you think of the quintessential riverfront cabin in the mountains.... this is
EXACTLY what you were hoping to find. Twin Creeks offers private, absolute river frontage at the
convergence of two state-stocked trout streams. Spend your days relaxing on the porch listening to
the rushing sounds of the stream and your nights in the hot tub under the stars! You’ll never want to
leave!
Twin Creeks Cabin sleeps 7 in two separate units; the main cabin has a queen bedroom, living room
with propane fireplace, fully stocked kitchen (no dishwasher) with auto drip and k-cup coffee
makers, dining room, commercial laundry unit, and full bath with stand-up shower. The second cabin
is connected by a spacious deck and offers a queen bed in the main room and a separate room with
bunk beds for three (twin over queen). A full bath off the bunk room also has a stand-up shower.
Both cabins offer extensive decking overlooking the stream, A/C & heat, instant hot water heaters,
fiber internet & and smart TVs. The property is pet friendly for dogs only with 2 dog maximum. $50
per pet will be charged after you book. A $150 charge will be levied if pets are not disclosed before
stay.
Twin Creeks is located about 9 miles down Elk Creek Rd. It is a typical, windy mountain road with
gravel in some areas. NO steep grades on either side and parking is flat so 4-wheel drive is not
required. Boone is an easy 20 minute drive and you can hop on the Blueridge Parkway and be in
Blowing Rock in approximately 30 minutes. The nearest grocery store is ten miles away so stop on
the way in for groceries or use the offered grocery delivery service. Besides fishing & relaxing on the
porch or along the stream, you have hiking trails nearby and Lil Hidden Creek Gem Mine just a
quarter-mile away. There is horseback riding five minutes away in Leatherwood and four ski areas
within a 45-minute drive. Bring your fishing poles, inner tubes, food/beverages, and outdoor games
and watch all your stress and worry melt away at Twin Creeks Cabin! Every season offers a unique
experience that is sure to lower your blood pressure and make you forget all the pressures of the
outside world. Come get disconnected for a while and renew your spirit!
Linens and towels are provided. One roll of paper towels in the kitchen and one roll of toilet paper per
bathroom will be in place when you arrive to get your visit started. NO GLASS ALLOWED BY THE
RIVER. A $250 fine will be assessed for violation of this and/or littering. If you see trash, pick it up
and always clean after your pets! Per the mountains, there is no customary trash pick-up at this
house so you will be responsible for taking all your trash to the recycle center on Elk Creek Road at
Jakes Mountain Rd. It is open M.W.F, S., and hours are posted in the Cabin Manual. If you are unable
to transport your trash, two bags secured in the exterior bins are included in your stay. Excess trash
will incur an additional fee for removal. Bundles of wood are available to purchase with advance
notice for $10 per bundle.
