Decorah Hotels with Parking

For this category of hotel it was really very nice. Everything in the room actually worked, and the hot water was almost instantaneous. Nothing like getting a good hot shower away from home.

The property was in walking distance to a couple nice bars and restaranuts and pizza places. Sitting area in back of motel with fire pits to look over the water. Also the property has a bar and grill attached which was awesome. Noise does not travel into the hotel. The free breakfast had a very large selection of items from hot food to your cold cereal, fruit, muffins, etc... great all around. Oh and the rooms were oh so clean and comfy.

The person at the front desk was awesome. I had forgotten there is not an elevator to the second floor. My husband and I were arguing at the bottom of the stairwell about who was going to carry our 5 pieces of luggage. Since he is 91 I did not want him to carry them up and he did not want me to carry them. The young woman at the desk apparently overheard us and offered the last room on first floor, a handicapped room. That was perfect for us! Finally we had a room with adequate electrical outlets, the water pressure was great, there was a bench to sit on in the bathroom, and the room was clean. Thank you!
