I found my stay at The Shores Resort and Spa to be very enjoyable. You can't get any better than right on the beach front! The staff were very professional, kind ,and greatly added to the calm and laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend the Indulge Spa, as the staff were skilled and attentive. I left with my body and mind completely relaxed. Highly recommend!

The first floor walk out cabana rooms are a great concept. The problem is the entire property is outdated. The rooms are just completely filthy. Our room had two queen beds, but there were two king headboards screwed to the wall so all that extra material and stuff is visible we haven’t been there in about nine years, and we took our granddaughters back because of the convenience of the cabana rooms, but I’ll never go there again the nicest part where I should say interaction with people that were staff was the valet parking. Everyone there was nice. I would recommend finding another hotel. This one looks attractive on social media and their website, but I think all of that is outdated.

I’ll never stay anywhere else!

One of the best places I’ve stayed in a long while. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, the beds were so comfortable and the view was awesome. The staff were friendly, our bartender made excellent drinks, the pool with the view of the ocean was great. Everything about this place will have me coming back anytime I stay in Daytona! Highly recommend!

The property itself was gorgeous and we did enjoy our stay. However, check in was supposed to be at 4 and our room wasn’t ready until 5 so after a day of traveling that was very frustrating. We had to call down several times for bath towels because our room wasn’t provided any when we got there. They were supposed to stock 2 waters a day in the room which we never received, our coffee was never restocked. To top it all off we had an item stolen from our room when “housekeeping” came in one time during our stay even though all they did was make the bed. The one time I tried to order from the tiki bar for lunch our ticket got “lost” and I waited 2 hours for a quesadilla. I received an email from Expedia wondering if we enjoyed our vip benefits which I have no idea what they are talking about either because I don’t even feel like we got standard service. But again, the hotel is gorgeous, clean, and the staff is friendly.

This hotel is very well maintained, the hallways all smell like clean cotton/linen it's a wonderful air freshener. The King room we had was spacious and had a view of the river and the gorgeous sunset. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good, we had breakfast there too and it was also very good.My only complaint was the loud elevator (??) sounds on the top floor even though we weren't near the elevator, it wasn't a big deal. I highly recommend this hotel! It's right on the beach and had a lovely back patio with 2 fire pits.

Dripping shower, non working blow dryer and couldn’t adjust room temperature of 62 degrees which caused me to get sick. I reported everything to front desk and only blow dryer was replaced. They said they had several complaints about the room temperature not being able to be adjusted even though a new boiler was installed. There was also a lot of empty loungers with towels on them so someone needs to remove them because it looks like they are taken.

I was told on check in, that the amenities mentioned on Expedia, were from Expedia and not anything the hotel was responsible to provide. Our first two nights had people smoking on the balcony next door, which was a no smoking area. They were very noisy until around midnight then settled down. Towels didn’t get changed out the first two days we were there then housekeeping changed them out daily as we were told would happen. Overall, not bad, just not exactly what we expected.
