Maybe the elevators can be a little something to gripe about but what hotel probably isn't. The mornings are when taking the stairs comes into mind because their continental breakfast is pretty popular. Everything else about this hotel is alright. The rooms appear newly refurbished. Recommend trying it.

Took quick 2 day trip for my husband’s birthday. This is an excellent hotel. Right on beach. Within walking distance to a lot of things. All the staff were very nice and friendly especially front desk and valet. Anything you needed all you had to do is ask. I would recommend staying here and we found our new Daytona hotel.

This Experience Was Terrible!!!! It first start off with being charge $20 a day for Valet Parking which is a fee that you hit with when you get there. Then they want to say it’s under policy on book sites which need to be put very visible where everyone can see, like where other facilities states free parking or parking fees. I’m a repeated booker and was down in April and Valet Parking wasn’t in place. Then when I complained the front desk person said with an attitude well do you want to cancel for free cause of valet parking… Really? Do you think so after 5 hrs and no other places to book and it’s not like my money will be refunded right on the spot. Yeah. They lost a customer with me. Then WiFi didn’t work in room 804 and the water pressure from the shower and toilet was weak. Then I re-entered my room after the storm to find my floor full of water and had to use all the towels to get it up. Told the ppl at the front desk of the problem advised them that we got it up with the towels and we need more but didn’t receive them until close to 9:00pm. I usually try to book this place every time I visit Daytona which almost 3 times a year because of the location and because it’s next to my favorite place Ocean Deck but after this experience, I don’t believe I’ll book again.

It was ok but for the price there are way better options in the area. The rooms floor was a tad sandy, toilet wouldnt flush well, TV picture had lines running through it, and rainwater seeps in from the door getting the floor wet.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Daytona

Great location right on the beach and surrounded by walkable shoppung and restaurants. You have to use valet service at $20 a day but worth it. The valet staff are amazing. We were pleased they were dealing with parking and keeping our vehicle safe. Great bunch of guys running that valet. Breakfast is perfect. Bar on property is convenient. Nice clean rooms with balconies. Elevator is small but never was an issue. 24/7 desk personnel is a plus. Very friendly. Its a great hotel to stay at especially at the lower price. Theres everything you need right there.

Disappointing

This hotel appears clean, but the room and hallway smelled bad and the room was humid, making it impossible for wet clothing to dry. The breakfast was also lackluster. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, though, so I hate to rate them low. Finally, my room was available for half the rate I paid but was not price adjusted because I did not see that until I checked in. A word to the wise, double check your rate at least two days in advance to get it adjusted if the price dropped!

The personnel was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the room I was put in was next to a beach club. I checked out early but wasn't asked why. Additionally, when I made my reservation with Expedia, the parking was free. When I arrived it was Valet only @ $20+ a night. I'm currently trying to get the charges for the 2nd night refunded.

I went to check in and I stood in front of the man (I was told his name is Jeff). After a few minutes his head was tipped down. I think he was sleeping. I said excuse me but I would like to check in. He popped his head up. Then he told me I needed to go see the parking attendant. I said where is the self parking. He was very rude with his comments and said you have to pay to park. I said the web site on Expedia made it sound like there was both. Well after some words and calling me a liar we went to our room. The young lady at the counter was very nice. I got charged twice for my parking. The parking attendant is working on refunding one.

Friendly staff, close walking distance to the boardwalk and pier, room equipped with mini fridge and microwave. It also next door to an ice restaurant that offers pretty good food. We parked when we got here for the weekend and never needed our car.

I won't be staying there again unless they change their parking valet system. We've always loved staying there and don't mind paying for parking, but when they give you no other options and force you to use valet I don't find that acceptable. I usually have valuables that I keep in my vehicle when traveling, but could not do that, had to take the items all up to the safe in the room, and then the safe we had to wait for 2 hours for the maintenance man to come and open it, in the meantime had to wait in our room with our valuables, that's cutting into our vacation time. Don't go above the third floor, otherwise you get very poor water pressure and forget about hot water. Was not the best stay this time. And I've always loved staying there. But not any longer. Did voice my concerns while there was nothing they could do about it..
