OLD TIMBERLINE - 



A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.







You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.

Only issue was a lack of some basic essentials we didn't realize we'd need (hand soap, garbage bags, laundry detergent) but overall an enjoyable stay with no major complaints.

Peaceful Weekend Get Away

White deer it's centrally located in old Tmberline. There are plenty of opportunities to explore nature. White Deer is private surroundings to enjoy the hot tub under the stars. If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature this is the place. This was our second time staying there.

This cabin is a great stay! It’s on a slight hill so definitely have 4-wheel drive. Had everything you would need for cooking. The hot tub was a hit.

Everything was very nice except for the fact that the hot tub did not work. I reached out to the property manager while we were staying through the Vrbo app and did not get a response.

Perfect location for trips to multiple state parks for hiking and biking. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with supplies, nice little side yard for pets, hot tub was great. We will stay here again if we have a chance to come back!

We had a lovely weekend at White Deer cabin. We enjoyed relaxing and exploring the area. We hiked the trails at Blackwater Falls and enjoyed the lakes near the property.

Cozy, quiet cabin-close to it all!

We loved staying at White Deer. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. The hot tub was an added perk because the cabin itself is surrounded by woods, making privacy easy. Easy access to Timberline and Canaan resorts. Getting up early and making fires while waiting for snow was our favorite part. Looking forward to staying here again!
