Unhappy with communication.

I booked at this property for my family who just got in married in Cotabato, then travelled to see a family in Bukidnon before flying back to New Zealand. However, they were not able to use the accommodation because the cellphone number given is unreachable. Because of time difference, I only got the messages of my family the following day telling me that they were unable to contact the owner. I sent a message if I can get a refund and give the money to the newly wed as my gift, but I haven’t heard any reply from the hosts. I feel gutted and wasted my money. Unit number was not clearly mentioned. Pls help me get a refund at least. Thank you
