This was a cabin in the rainforest, so in the thick of nature. Sadly for us, it rained during our whole stay. I think its an amazing location for getting away and seeing wildlife on your doorstep. With a stay at Damai Beach Resort in Kuching, just steps from Damai Beach and Teluk Bandung.
The resort is dated but it does correspond to the price bracket. It is more chalet than hotel. Staff in the restaurant were great. The fried rice is excellent. The beach is clean and we had starfish sightings.
