The kitchen was not clean. Dishes were dirty refrigerator and freezer were dirty, the microwave was nasty. Bathrooms were pretty clean except for the floors you could tell they hadn’t been mopped. Did have a problem trying to check in. The maintenance guy who said that he was the owner Son allowed one of our guest access to the property about 45 minutes early when the guest asked if it was OK if we needed to wait he said no it’s fine. I’m the owner son well the next thing I know we get hit with 150 early check-in fee. I tried to explain this to the host, but it fell on deaf ears. She said the maintenance man gave her a completely different story saying that we had already talked to the host and that it was OK for us to have an early check-in, which was not true at all. It was another issue with needing everybody’s drivers license, which I feel as an invasion of privacy ans now they have information that they don’t need to have, of course, most of that problem was my fault. I didn’t read the instructions clearly, but it was a huge pain in the ass. I do feel like we should be refunded the 150 early check-in fee because my friend that got there had just gotten there early and he was waiting on us which we showed up at four and I feel like the maintenance guy/owner. Son was definitely lying and he told the host something different probably just to save his own ass. We do have pictures of the microwave and the refrigerator if you would like to see how dirty they were.
